Neither the video nor the printed instructions (which are so tiny you can’t even make out the pictures without a magnifying glass) are of major help in putting this thing together. You have to fly by the seat of your pants! Once together it seems to be fairly sturdy. The video goes by much too quickly and is really not specific enough. Ordered 2 of these. first one had lots of dents and bent parts. After putting it together with some swapping of pieces around to fit properly noticed that the individual nesting boxes were smaller than expected. After fighting to get them aligned and square got it mounted. The second I expected to be in better shape but was actually worse, bent and dented pieces but this time one of the pieces was missing some of the threaded fittings and had to use nuts and bolts to secure some of the parts. Not worth the money spent but not worth the effort to actually return them as well. These are for chickens and not on display so out of sight, out of mind. ... show more

It does the job but it was bent in a couple of places. The box was in perfect condition so it happened before it was boxed up. One of the rivets that the bolts screw into was attached on the wrong side of the piece. Fortunately my boyfriend is a metal wizard and was able to make it work. I like the nesting boxes but be warned it probably won’t arrive in perfect condition. For the money it should be better. ... show more

Video direction no help either for a six cube box. Two of the shelves roll backwards away from the egg collecting shelve. Been working on it for three hours.

Just got this chicken nesting boxes, instructions to build only come with pictures and are not the best quality , however the product seems to be built pretty well and the material does not feel cheap , not sure the longevity of the nesting boxes but will try to update review in a few months
