I love the feed and water stations. The removable top on the feeder isn’t flat so my chicks aren’t able to perch on top. The food scoop is the perfect size. The waterer base has a nice twist fit that won’t come loose. A bonus is that the handle clicks down and locks into place so my chicks won’t get their legs caught if they decide to jump on top of it.     • Don't turn the water over in your brooder

This set is doing the job for me. It's not hard to clean and all my chicks and keets are able to use both the feeder and waterer effectively. My only complaint/advice is that if you wait and turn the water over in your brooder, you will absolutely wind up with water in your brooder floor/bedding, which is not good for baby birds. I now just fill it and turn it over and then carefully walk to and put it in the brooder. I still think this set is awesome for the price and I am very happy with it ... show more

Started out with feeder and waterer without adjustable legs, but needed a model like this to reduce the amount of trash chickens were scratching into them. These products work great! Full disclosure: I only have five chickens at this point. Even though I have since purchased a larger waterer, I still use the feeder (which lasts the five chickens all day) and I use this waterer to provide them with electrolyte solution on hot days. Since the chickens are about 16 weeks old now, I have placed both the feeder and waterer 12-inch diameter, 1-inch high concrete disks, which elevates them a little more and also helps keep them clean. They are great for my chicks. I had to change the water 4-5 times per day with the regular kind, as they kept kicking sawdust and feces into them, but with these, I can get away with one or twice per day. Make sure you put them into the bedding instead of on top for greater stability and make sure you click the tabs in all the way to avoid spills. ... show more

We have been very pleased with these as the chickens have grown. They are very easy to put together, and they were the right size for our four small chickens. The adjustable legs help as they grow, but the ground really needs to be flat otherwise they're not very stable.
