    • Crap product do not buy if you care about your paint.
This was a complete waste of money, time and effort. Thankfully I only did a small area inside the door. I used exactly like the stupid chemical guys videos and directions. I used their light clay on a 2021 Wrangler and only did the side to side motion (as directed) and after drying inspected with high lumen light and it now has micro scratches (horizontal swirl marks). I guessing that the detail guys that love this stuff are morons or do not care about the micro scratches. DO NOT BUY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR NEW PAINT! Have heard about clay bars for a while - finally tried this one. After a good cleaning, I used the clay bar (with a 1-10) water and Simple Green spray as a lubricant. The paint on my 15 year old truck was never smoother! Finished with a quality wax and the old truck looks new!

I have a Griot's Garage clay bar that is yellow and I have had it for years. It works great and I had ordered some other Chemical Guys gear--- so I bought a light clay bar to work with. For lube, I would have bought their Luber, but I have a lot of Griot's Speed Shine that they use for lube. So I took a panel and gave it a spin.... works just fine. I love the feel right after and then I waxed the same area with wax that I already have---- I think this will be my next Chemical Guys purchase. ... show more

It’s useless. I bought a brand new car. I washed the next day and use this clay after wash to decontaminate the car before polishing and applying coating. I followed directions and used lube with this clay. It was not removing anything. I used Meguiar clay bar couple years back on my other car, it worked perfect. I’m not sure what’s the deal this clay bar. But I would not buy this again. ... show more

I really didn't see a great result with the blue clay on a heavily contaminated paint job. But it did work wonders on light-contamination, on newer cars. Which is what it is designed to do. I'd put this on par with the synthetic clay blocks you see coming out from Nano, and even Chemical Guys. What those blocks will *never* be able to do is bend to your will......errr.... how you want it to be shaped. You can shape clay reach under handles, in crevices and cracks, and around lights/seals/gaskets, etc. I liked how this worked on glass, but I use the black clay for glass simply because... if you can scratch your glass with clay, you need to tell the old lady you found her lost diamond ring. Clay will *not scratch* your glass. But it WILL clean it. Keep this blue stuff for new(er) cars. ... show more

    • Get your Chemical guys clay bar else where!!!!!!!!!!
Don't get your Chemical Guys Clay bar from Amazon. The BLUE clay bar I recived was hard and tough to use. This is NOT my first chemical guys clay bar. But it is my first and last from Amazon. Chemical guys has Great products. How long Amazon had it on a shelf, is anyone's guess.
