She loves them! They were pretty long, she she hemmed them to her height. Pants are better when they’re too long than too short, so you can tailor them to your exact height. These pants are nice and lightweight, very flowy and perfect for the summertime. My mom needed them after she fell hard and cut her knee badly. Wearing tight jeans when the scab was healing was too painful because they’d stick to her jeans and pull her skin. These pants were perfect for that! I chose these pants in particular because they’re affordable, and they’re mostly linen, cotton, and contain no microplastic fabric like cheap polyester, aka the most environmentally unfriendly material on earth! I wear an XXL in this style. I am 5"4" and weigh 195 pounds. I am pear-shaped so I carry more weight in my bottom than top. I ordered six althogether: 2 gray, 1 green, and 3 black. I am a high school teacher, and my thermostat is set for the comfort of the students but it's too hot for me because I'm always on the move. I need long pants that are closer to summer or fall weight. I feel lucky that I found these. That being said, the sizing and feel are not consistent across the colors. The gray and green drape beautifully and are consistently comfortable. They feel like a great blend of cotton and linen. The black pants are a heavier, thicker material, and the waistband is larger. It sits below my belly button instead of above. The crotch depth is too low, part way down my thighs. Anything in my pockets pulls the waistband down to the point that it's in danger of dropping beneath my shirt hem. They are physically and psychologically uncomfortable; constantly worrying if my pants will droop makes me very self-consious. NOT a good idea when I'm around teenage boys all day! I returned the black. I don't want them in a smaller size, I like the drape of the other colors better. I returned the black pairs and will buy more gray and green. If it weren't for the problem with the black pants, I would give these 5 stars. ... show more

I like the fit, other than the length. I’d hoped they’d be longer as some reviewers mentioned they were. But, they are still too short for me, I don’t like short pants, but admittedly, I have long legs. I have been searching every where trying to find long/tall linen pants. The only place I can find them are sold out or being shipped from someplace overseas. Sigh!….the search continues! But…I will say if you want regular length linen-like pants, I believe these are a pretty good buy! I like the lightweight material for the summer and overall fit. The navy ones are not a dark navy, but I’d still keep them if they were longer. I also got white, they’re great too! Two more pairs are on the way….sadly, they're all going back. I got the green color pants and it was perfect! I expected the pants to be see through but they were a perfect materials and thickness so they weren’t transparent at all. The fabric is nice and flowy so good for hot weather, and there are pockets which is a major bonus.

There's no need for such extreme elastic in a drawstring waist. These are SUPER high waist. Like up to the middle of my ribs high waist, could have tucked it under my bra high waist. These are NOT wide leg, OR they are not true to size. I am consistently a size large, that is what I bought. These were so uncomfortable- the elastic is tight around the waist, the legs were tight. They were also long (but everything is long when you are 5'2"). I would have hemmed them if they fit better. The tag says 40% linen and 60% cotton for the black color pants- super stiff material, not at all flowing or breezy /drapey like I expected from that percentage blend. This would not be appropriate for summer wear nor to wear in my stifling hot classroom. Extreme wrinkles right out of the bag, but that's to be expected for linen. Since I am returning them I did not bother hitting them with the steamer to see how easily the wrinkles would fall out. Really a bummer, this is now the 5th pair of pants I've ordered and will be returning from Amazon in hopes of finding that easy, breezy pair of linen/cotton pants suitable for casual everyday wear or for work. I had a ton of other colors in the cart just in case these were the unicorn I'd been searching for. Oh well. ... show more

I wanted to like these but they seem to be cut in a way that makes hops look rounder than they actually are. In addition to the short length and mediocre material it’s just not a flattering look.
