This review is for the CHARMACY 2 in 1 Duochrome Gel Eyeliner in DE02 Violets. I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality of this 2 in 1 eyeliner! The purple pen/marker-type liquid eyeliner end is incredibly precise, allowing for thick to very thin lines. The purple is rich and very saturated, and is on the darker side of the spectrum. The solid purple stayed on my skin all day, even through washing with soap, and I had to use eye makeup remover to get it off, lol. The shimmery, purply-goldy end is a gel type retractable pencil. I would not call this "glitter," but instead a holo-metallic-shimmer. The gel end was a bit soft and therefore difficult to get a precise line. But what it lost in precision was made up by the very lovely color. Also beautifully saturated, in a warm golden plum type shimmer. The shimmer end stayed put on my skin throughout most of my day, but it did come off more easily with soap and water, in contrast to the pen side. I love this two in one eyeliner. The colors are a bit different depending on which end you use and are both very pretty. The point of the liquid makes a thin, precise line and the pencil side goes on smooth and consistent. It lasts all day and I ended up having to use eye makeup remover to take it off. One one end of this is a chromatic stick that changes color as you apply it. The first part of the swipe might be purple while the last half could be bronze. Very neat in theory, not good for someone who needs both sides matching, but a cool effect. Downside, after a few hours this side didn't stick to the skin. There was sparkle everywhere on my face below the eyes, and very little color left on the eye. It was a mess getting it off. The picture I included is to show the color changes with a single swipe. Three stars for this side. Would be less, but the color effect is just so cool for that hour or two where it stays. The end with the purple liner brush is wonderful. The brush is firm enough to get a nice thin line, but not so firm that it causes the skin to pull. The color lasts for hours if you don't rub your eyes, and the effect is wonderful. It doesn't paint over shadows easily, which is a sadness, but I often wear just liner and mascara and this will be my go to purple from now on! Five stars for this side! ... show more

Cute eyeliner. Doesn't quite work as how the pictures show, the colors aren't quite as separate and distinct as they are shown. But it still blends nicely into a lovely shade
