These are the third variety of Smart Bulb I purchased, and the first I am keeping. A bit tricky to set up. You may think they are saddled with fixed names, such as "First Light", "Second LIght", but with a bit of fine-tuning the BRmesh and Alexa apps, you can have them responding to "Bed", "Hall", or "Door" as I have. They are nice and bright: 100W equivalent. My wife is thrilled our front door is finally illuminated so well. And I'm pleased the Bedroom can have 100% bright for cleaning, and 5% for bedtime. And all with simple voice commands ! I bought a pack of four. Due to the fact there is no actual glass to shatter, the package is simple and lightweight. I have three in use; and plans for the 4th. But I am uncertain it the system can support more lights. I hope so. Definitely would buy again. ... show more

These were really easy to set up with Alexa - I love that I can turn off the lights or dim them down just by speaking. I bought 4 but only really needed 3 so I took the spare to a friend who was having trouble turning her sunroom light on and off because the chain kept breaking. She set hers up on her phone instead of Alexa and agin, very easy to set up & control. The soft to bright white color of the bulb is great too - I can choose mood lighting or really bright light if I am doing detail work. Definitely one of my best buys and after 4 months they are still working as well as they did on day 1. (Friend just moved and was so pleased with hers she took it with her!) ... show more

Don't throw your money in the trash, synchronizing this light with Alexa was quite an odyssey, after it finally worked about half an hour it started to flash, after that no matter how much struggle I put into it, it no longer wanted to work, it just flashed and flashed. like crazy, and I got angry and threw it in the trash, stay away from this trash ... show more

We are using this bulb as a reading lamp in a three light fixture. We can now turn the lower bulb on individually when reading and off when watching tv, while the other two bulbs remain on. It was easy to set up with Alexa and we just love it! The choices from warm to cool light are also wonderful.

I got it working finally, but not on alexa or Google. Others paired instantly, App is fine though. This one is not really bright but that may be my fault for not researching. It does work, not sure on longevity. I am using it now where I don't need voice control.
