Before designing our sheets, we had to rethink everything we thought we knew. We learned that a higher thread count doesn’t mean higher quality, you can’t cut corners when it comes to cotton, and the right weave makes a world of difference. Our result? Sheets that are the perfect balance of soft, crisp, and airy. Instead of obsessing over the number of threads, we focused on finding the right thread count for our specific cotton and weave choices. A high thread count sounds fancy, but more threads can actually make sheets heavier and less breathable. We landed on 300x300 threads — a modest number that makes a big difference. We chose a lightweight percale weave because it’s proven to last longer and breathe better than any other.

Ok the sheets were pricey but I thought "they will last a long time". They are cool and comfortable and as other people mentioned very wrinkly. But they fit and the bottom sheet was nice and tight. But they seem to shrink EVERY TIME I wash them. The bottom sheet fit the first time I washed it and now it is at least 4 inches from the end. The pictures are from the same side of the bed. The top does not slide in and the bottom seam is 4 inches from the end of the mattress. I bought them in March so can't return them. Will buy another bottom sheet but not from this company. ... show more

Let's start with the elephant in the room. There is no duvet cover with this sheet. The description is simply wrong, and the price is accurate based on what you find on Casper's actual website. You get one fitted sheet, one flat sheet and two standard pillow cases. It's 100% organic cotton with a 300 Thread count. I don't really know what a percale weave is, but I will say the first thing I did was wash this set and they came out wrinkled like an impressive prune. Heh. Now I know thread count isn't everything, but I'm not sure why the description doesn't list it. They are crisp though, feels light and felt pretty cool the nights I've slept in it so far. The wrinkles were not felt, so it's not as if they interfered in away that matters. Now what really amazed me, and perhaps it's a reflection on the sheets I usually buy, is this is not described as deep pocket sheets, but not only did they feel like they were... the elastic is incredibly strong. I mean my other sheets mostly depend on a good fit and depth to keep the sheets in place. This elastic is thick and just noticeably more robust than my other sets. I was impressed. I don't now how long it's going to keep it's grip, but it was so easy to fit these sheets whereas my deep pockets require more of a struggle. That's a lot of word to say the fitted sheet was really easy to put on. They're cool, strong and so far just feels great to sleep on. The price is, well it's a sticker shock realizing the duvet isn't there, but like I said, their website lists this correctly and this is the price. I've literally opened sheets before and had them rip the first go around. This is not going to happen with these. This is tough stuff. I like it! ... show more

I bought a different brand of similarly-priced sheets from a well known, mostly internet-based mattress company, and thought they felt like, meh, ordinary sheets. I found these on sale and decided to take a shot. They are infinitely better! The beautifully white percale weave feels luxurious and just floats above me in bed -- I'm a whirling dervish and these don't tangle me up. The extra deep fitted sheet is just what I need, and I especially like the elastic used -- it's fantastic, unlike any other sheet I've ever seen. The top sheet is generously sized and I'm a big fan of envelope-style pillowcases. I'll be buying another Casper set soon. ... show more
