I got this for my husband to use while he is golfing. He fills it with some ice and then put Gatorade bottles in the bag. The ice does melt but the bottles still stay cold. The liner doesn’t leak even when the ice melts. I like how the plastic line can be pulled out of the bag to dry.

I bought the gray leather backpack, it came in fast, has plenty of space, easy to carry. But not 20 minutes and the ice was melting and leaking everywhere. I’d suggest ice packs, not ice if you are going to use it, not be fouled by leak proof, cause it’s not.

It is a back pack. Perfect size..for alit or a little bit of items.i had ice in it for 6 hours.. it did melt but did not leak.the bag was tottally dry..lots of pockets..Definitely worth the money.i got many compliments on the flowers..I will buy another2 for my daughters..

I really dig this cooler backpack. This the first cooler I've owned in a backpack format, and I was skeptical about the insulating capabilities. But, for day trips it holds up very well and keeps the contents cool if you include a small reusable ice pack or two. I have not tested it with cubed ice, as I think it might be a pain to get it clean/dry afterwards. But with the reusable packs, it works great and stays dry inside (other than standard condensation). The straps are adjustable and fairly comfortable, although I wouldn't want to take it fully loaded on a longer hike. ... show more
