The media could not be loaded. I wasn’t sure how much of a difference this paper would make for my art prints. But OMG! Huge jump in quality! I first printed my scanned painting on Avery photo paper. This stuff takes ink like a dream, and the surface feels nice and soft. I haven't really seen its equal at this price point since another brand I got years ago that I sadly forgot the name of. Only hitch is, if you want accurate colors right out of the box with your Canon printer, you have to deal with built in margins that are kind of overly-generous and waste quite a lot of paper. I hear it's because they claim that it's to keep it from curling, but I bought letter-sized paper for a reason and I would like to at least be able to get an 8x10 out of that, if not larger. You can override this and just use other paper settings, but you're going to be stuck fiddling with the colors to make certain that they're accurate. ... show more

As an newbie (+/- 2 yrs) of continuous printing at a rate of more than twice a week -since I'm from the Jose Rodriguez school of thought that if you own a large photo printer you might as well use it rather than waste the ink in programmed printer cleanings, I have arrived at the conclusion that this is the BEST photo paper FOR ME in my Canon Pixma Pro-100. Luckily I experimented (using over 200 sheets of 10.5x11 and 13x19 sizes of various Canon papers including Gloss, Semi-Gloss, and Platinum) rather than follow others' advise to use only glossy papers since the Pro-100 is a dye printer (not pigment) and the quality not as good. I can attest after two years (+) that the Canon Pro Premium Matte Photo Paper has been consistent and very satisfactory to my style of image printing... noting that I've always used its ICC profile when printing. ... show more

    • Not very white at all.
I know "white" can vary a lot, but this is not very white at all, which is surprising given that it's a "premium" photo paper. Otherwise, it's decent for pics with a lot of ink, but lighter areas suffer due to the lack of initial brightness.
