  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Genuinely comfortable!
I originally got one of these to use during flights, along with a (Cabeau Evolution S3) travel pillow, and (especially together) both are *fantastic!* I was eventually separated from the sleep mask, and when I went to replace it, at first I made the mistake of buying a different brand. It was highly rated and supposedly "ergonomic," but... well, picture the same sort of shape as "over-the-ear" headphones, but over your eyes -- presumably really handy if your eyes happen to be protruding out of their sockets, but since I doubt I'd get much sleep in that case anyway, they only struck me as odd, and needlessly created pressure points all around my eyes. Anyway! Point is... I then ordered another one of these, and the difference is like night and day: these are super soft and comfortable, perfectly adjustable to fit exactly right, to the point that you might forget you were wearing them if they didn't so thoroughly & effectively block out all light! On a bright and sunny day at the beach, wearing these you would see nothing but pitch black. (And even better than forgetting you're wearing them, I've found myself wishing I could somehow wear mine while watching TV 😁) ... show more

  • 2.0 out of 5 stars Weird
The bottom of the mask has this weird lip that curls up inside so it presses into your lower lids, despite constant readjustments and strap loosening/tightening. Definitely black out. But I couldn’t get it comfortable.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for some people, but not me.
Let me start by saying that, if you are having trouble staying asleep come first light, as I do, eye masks are a miracle. I h e tried a few different ones. This one was cool because it has a little pouch with earplugs, but honesty, in the long run, I don’t use them. If I am on a plane, I use headphones instead. The feel is really soft, which is nice, but I have quite a big head, which means that to wear them I have to wear the strap below my occipital bone at the upper part of my neck rather then straight back atop my occipital bone itself. This actually provides a fair amount of comfort since that way when laying on my back, I can’t felt the strap on my head, however it pulls the mask down on my nose uncomfortably. I could really see this being the best one for a lot of people, but having tried it, I prefer the more basic ones with the convex bulbs over the eyes. ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars The perfect sleep mask that isn’t
I so want to love this. It’s so close. I recently became a sleep mask convert and have been looking for something that actually blocks light. I have been looking for one to seal off light from around my nose and this one does a fabulous job. My complaint, you ask? The eyes don’t block a lot of light! What, you ask!?!! THE EYES DON’T BLOCK A LOT OF LIGHT!!! Come on guys! If you are going to make a sleep mask, don’t cheap out on the material that goes over your god-blessed eyes for cripe sake. If it’s daytime and you wave your hand in front of your face, you will see a nearly perfect silhouette of your hand. The only thing I can figure is they were worried about heat? I can’t figure it out. Anyway, it’s nearly perfect. Well, except for the ONE SMALL ISSUE. Lol. It’s better than anything else I’ve tried, but I’m so waiting for version 2.0. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect
Blocks out the light really well. My favorite sleep mask ever had silk on the outside and fleece on the inside against my eyes. It’s personal preference because I often sleep with my arm across my eyes and this sleep mask isn’t as comfortable when sleeping like that. That said, it blocks the light extremely well and I had no issue with the strap behind my head like some others have said. As someone with consistent sinus problems I had a minor issue with the feeling that breathing through my nose was more difficult if the mask wasn’t arranged in a particular way. I recognize most of my complaints are unique to me, so if you don’t have these specific issues I’d definitely give it a try. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Very good/ could be better.
Two things that would make this product better: first is stiffen and increase the height of the part that raises the cover away from your eyes. I love the idea- I just wish that it worked a little better because my eyelashes still hit the inside which is irritating. The second suggestion is to offer it in bright colors or include bright colors in the black so that it stands out better. Black is very easy to lose when packing things up in a crowded plane. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Custom tweeking for fit.
4.5 out of 5 stars. Night shift worker. Blocks the light well, once you tweek it for a custom fit. I am 5'2", 112 lbs and have a low bridge and higher cheek bones. Tweeking can be a little frustrating at first but black out can be achieved. Once you get that custom fit, don't mess w/ it further. Also, if you roll over it in your sleep you might have to reconfigure it again. If you are a back sleeper and don't toss much in your sleep, there is no need to secure it behind your head. It is howver, somewhat hot when secured. Would have rated it as a 5 if not for the tweeking and product being a bit pricey. That said you can get the results you're attempting to achieve. • 1.0 out of 5 stars POOR Design - Seriously Flawed!
This company makes great products for travel, head and neck support. This eye mask is certainly not one of them. ALL of the reviews are accurate. The head band is very short, tied together with Velcro - it barely closes less then a half inch of connecting with the other end of the band. The remaining part of the Velcro that is abrasive and sharp it will stab into the back of your scalp. Then there is the wire on the nose piece that attempts conform to the shape of your face. It just doesn’t. You must confirm to it and get use to it. It protrudes lifting the entire mask higher, leaving even less head band length for Velcro to connect. However, the worst part of this mask is that when the mask is worn there is a metal end poking into the left part of my face, so I removed the nose wire to reveal what is really inside. This clearly not safe to be placed on anyone’s face, it pokes directly thru the fabric. This is a harmful product and should be removed from the marketplace. Absolute waste of money! Do Not Buy this product. Just a horrible product that is NOT returnable. ... show more
