I received my shorts on May 9 and have been using them for my daily workouts the past 3 weeks. These shorts are by far the most comfortable workout shorts that I own. I ordered size XXL because I wanted my shorts to be a little loose, but I could have gone with XL but the fit works for me. The elastic waist band is very comfortable and I use these shorts for cross fit training that is the reason I wanted order the looser fit. I do like the phone pocket on the left side and I always like the signature zipper pocket on the right side. Planning on order more shorts in different colors very soon. ... show more

I own a few pieces of BROKIG gear and as always the price/performance ratio is great and these are no exception! 183lbs, 5'10" and I usually get size SMALL in Brokig - these felt a tad smaller than the usual small (but it always depends on material. I wish I chose medium. I find them more useful fo rrunning on the beach than anything else due to all the secure pockets. They could also double as swim trunks in a pinch due to the quick dry fabric. Pros: - Material isn't heavy but also is not lightweight - Pockets! Left side pocket is for your phone, it's a 'tucked in pocket' very secure and can fit and iPhone 12 Max - Good stretch/don't get in the way on leg day - elastic band in the rear of short is very snug, almost don't need the drawstrings CONS - The panel seams come to a point on the inside / outside of the short ... show more

Really comfortable shorts. The material is light and airy so you won't be getting musty in these. Pretty good length and stretch. While doing squats I didn't find that I needed to hike them up. Since they stretch well the legs would rose up as I squared but didn't contrict any movement. The waist band is very nice too. There is a separation of the waist band on the back of the shorts. This means the drawstring isn't connected which I found to be more comfortable. Price wise, they're about average for the type of shorts their marketed for so I'd say this is a good buy all around. ... show more

I would highly recommend these shorts for weight lifters that need effective, good shorts for doing squats and dead lifts as these shorts are stretchable and do not feel restricted as you squat or bend down. The fabric is light weight and stretchable which make these shorts ideal for running, jogging, or walking, flipping tires, and also feel comfortable. Perfect shorts. Feel soft enough to sleep in, keeps dry enough to workout in. Haven’t tried yet, but I think they’d make dope swim shorts too. The waist band is comfortable around my back which is good because I have a back injury. Perfect length sits an inch or so above the knee.

Also, the pockets are firm and don't evidence the "sag" of a lot of other gym shorts. They're cut to be form-fitting (i.e., snug), so as they recommend, I would definitely buy AT LEAST one size larger than your usual. ... show more

These shorts are great! They're definitely a tight fit but, definitely helps with chaffing for those thick thighed runners. The phone pocket stores your phone perfectly. The only thing I would have liked added is a left hand pocket.
