The Britax Advocate Click Tight Convertible Car Seat is sturdy feeling, aesthetically pleasing and expensive - which saves me from having feelings of guilt from "cheaping out" on my daughter's safety. The convenience of having multiple options of installation and the fact that it fits in our subcompact vehicle gives us the flexibility to place it in any vehicle in the family fleet. The materials used for the plastic and metal parts have a nice, high quality feel to them. The seat foam feels dense and memory-foam like, and the seat cover fabric feels soft, breathable and easy to clean. There are also cushy shoulder pads on the harness for extra comfort. As with any car seat, there are little quirks that the Britax Advocate ClickTight Convertible Car Seat has. The first is the shoulder harness: be sure to adjust the chest clip so that it is high on your baby's chest so he/she won't be able to wiggle his/her arms out of them. The second one is the click-tight button that you have to flip and twist which is awkward at first. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. It seems expensive at first, but based on the quality, I believe it will last until I drop my daughter off to college. ... show more

    • Great and safe seat!
I love this car seat! My husband tells me I should be a spokesperson for Britax. I know a properly installed is the safest seat. However, this one provides peace of mind. It’s heavy (okay for me!) as it’s a steel frame. I trust that my baby is safe in this seat! It’s easy to install once you get a few practices in. I love this seat so much that I convinced my mom to get one for her car because my nephew rides with her daily. Other reviews mentioned annoyance with how the LATCH buckles are stored. This seat’s preferred installation method (per the manual) is with the car’s lap shoulder belt. So there’s no need to use the LATCH at all. Once your child reaches 35 lbs, the car belt has to be used so may as well go with the preferred method on the get go. Additionally, using the car lap and shoulder belt with the clicktight has given me the most secure installation of any car seat I’ve installed. It does not move. ... show more

Very easy to install and tighten the straps. Seat feels sturdy and safe. Click tight ensures proper/tight install. 3 year old says it is "so comfy!"

Love how easy it is to install, it feels so safe and honestly my baby loves being in it! Compared to her infant car seat she is a lot happier. We have had one blow out, and it was a breeze to take off everything and wash it. Also I feel insanely happy how secure and safe she is in this car seat. I don’t really hear the clicking noise unless it’s dead quiet but I always check anyway to make sure she is in. Oh and the best part? IT DOESNT TWIST. I hated that about car seats, when you’re trying to leave but you realize it’s twisted and you stand there for 5-10 minutes with a screaming baby in a parking lot with door open... not fun. This makes putting her in so fast and when we switch cars so easy. A lot of weight off my shoulders with this purchase. ... show more

    • Easy to install, hard to buckle, heavy, but quality materials
I really wish britax could step it up and make their car seats have cup holders. The side cup holders that they sell separately are terrible, do not stay and destroy the actual car seat were it clips in over time. But aside from that we love this seat. My daughter does have a harder time buckling herself in this seat then her old Graco seat so I do have to loosen the straps so she can do it herself and then tighten them back up again. The fabric is soft and so far has held up to spills, markers and food very well, true to color in the product photos as well. We love the chemical free materials and the saftey standards are great. Installing is so easy and quick which is a major selling point, but keep in mind they are heavy! Overall love the seat and the brand...just add some cupholders please. ... show more

Worth every penny. I also have the Graco 4ever and the Extended to fit, and they both feel like..toys. I am picky, and I need to feel the chair is strong, great material, soft touch, heavy duty, nice design, and feel safe for my child (as he will be in it on the highway an hour per day). After hrs and hrs of research, and try many different one, I decided to go with Advocate CT ARB + the 15% completion discount from my baby registry. Amazon has issue with the listing, so I saw the right design with wrong name, and I received the wrong item, which is not the vendor fault at all. I reach out to CaptitalKIDZ, and they was so amazing. They not only honor the price, but also send the right item to us at a prompt time. Email back and forth really quick, so I don't have to wait 2-3 days for an answer. I love them, and will do business again. NOTE: Item i got in May 2018, was manufactured in Feb 2018, so they really keep their stock moving. ... show more

Ordered two, one for my almost 2 y/o and one for my almost 6 m/o. Thankfully, we haven't personally tested this seat in a crash yet, but it's easy to install, seems comfy for both kiddos, and is a relatively good looking seat (as far as the things are concerned). Yes, they're hefty. Yes, they're huge. If need be you can squeeze someone in the middle seat in a bench row but it would be unkind for a very long ride. Even for someone with pretty narrow hips. We're in South Texas so everything is hot but these seem relatively cool (read merely billing hot rather than basically the surface of the sun) minus a caution sign on the lower back that gets hot. Just make sure there's clothing between skin and the little sign. But seriously, make sure you have pretty solid upper body strength or some help to heft these bad boys around. They mean some serious safety business!! ... show more
