Very good punch... If you don't need to see where the hole is going to go. Unfortunately, I need to be very accurate in my project. That aside, it is one of the smoothest hole punches I've ever used! And it takes very very little force to punch through thick, or stacked paper. It's also nice that the handle holds the scraps inside so there is NO lose paper flying around or falling out the sides like in other designs. The latch to empty it out is difficult to open, which could be a good or bad thing, depending on your intended use. For my purposes, this punch would be a 2 or 3 star product. For kids use, 5 stars all the way. For a general hole punch product, I'd say it's a 4 or 5 star. ... show more

    • A little flimsy when you have a lot to punch.

I like the feel of this hole punch. It's light in your hands but works easily. I like that there's a cover for the holes that were punched out so they don't get all over the place. You probably need to clean it out after each use. If you don't, it'll build and build until you can't use it anymore. It forms a pillar of punched out holes. I couldn't get it to open to dislodge the discarded punched paper. I used it until it broke open the whole thing. I was able to snap it back. This hole puncher is so much easier to use than the old styled ones. I am able to hole punch 3 sheets of heavy laminated sheets at a time easily. This is so much better to use with carpal tunnel!
