I replaced the speakers in my Chevy truck with these. The installation was pretty easy and they sound very good for the price. It was a very good replacement option and cost much less than the OEM version. The only thing that I would do differently is not connect the factory tweeters.

My Prime streaming app recently blew out my speakers when I reversed the video and the sound automatically increased to the maximum volume. Luckily only my old front wired speakers blew out. I took it apart and replaced the bad speakers with these Boss speakers. They didn’t fit exactly so I had to be a little creative (and lucky) with putting in the screws that hold down the speakers. But the sound is great and since the wattage is much higher with these new Boss speakers, it should avoid the problem of possibly blowing out the speakers if the volume increases when I rewind while using the Prime app. As for the volume increase problem with the app, I have no idea why it started doing that or how to solve it but I’ll keep investigating and provide an update if it gets resolved ... show more

Ordered this to replace a blown speaker for my 2006 Toyota Highlander. I chose this because it was suggested as a "fits your vehicle" item. Well, the only thing that fit the OEM mounts was the plastic adapter bracket. I had to make use of screws I happened to have and drill the brackets to mount the speakers for a secure fit. This didn't t come with anything other than the speakers and brackets. I'd have rated higher if some instructions and mounting hardware came with it. Good value for the money, but I'll probably look for the OEM or next suggested by the OEM if these go out. ... show more

Used 2 of the 4" 50W speakers to make a Bluetooth boombox out of an ammo can. 120W power supply and 100W amp and these little speakers sound great! They can get extremely loud.

Amazon stated this would fit a Toyota Prius. Plugs we’re wrong, mounting bracket didn’t fit, bracket holes didn’t even line up with their own speaker. I had to custom make a bracket and wire on dedicated plugs. Speaker sounded fair. Not great. Sounds we’re not crisp.

Feb 12.2023 edit- still no problems and sounds like it did the day of install. For the price point this speaker really can’t be beat. For a mid speaker this one is top notch at the price point. It’s rare to find single speakers so when I saw this I figured “why not?” I wasn’t in the market for anything top tier after market for a replacement after the factory speaker blew. The sound quality is miles above the factory speaker that came in our 2010 Nissan Rogue. The holes don’t match up and I had to cut the stock wire harness off and re-wire myself. But, not a problem. A few washers and some basic wiring knowledge is all you need to get the job done! After installing countless aftermarket speakers/amps/subs/tweeters in my personal vehicles over the years this one was a breeze! Say goodbye to distortion and that annoying crackle that comes with a dry rotted stock paper speaker! I’ve only had it in one day but if any issues arise I will update my review. 10/10 would recommend at this point in time though! ... show more
