These bearings are smooth and fast. I am not sure about quiet: I keep my wheels tight enough for the bearings to make contact with the spacers, which causes noise. I have regular Reds on one of my skateboards and these feel better than the regular Reds. I would recommend these bearings.

I bought these for the kid and im honestly jealous... And i have bones swiss bearings. Her board is noticably faster and I outweigh her by 80 pounds. Can not go wrong with these. Plus they are shielded on both sides where the swiss are not

I own BOTH the MBS All-Terrain Longboard AND Allrover Stair-Rover Longboard , as they are used for daily commuting downtown CLE, OH with a heavy travel backpack. Though these boards are completely awesome, I'd have to say that my Penny Board that I just upgraded with Bones Super Reds Bearings is the most fun. I use it during lunch to zip from place to place. I am 5"8 and 160 Ibs, by the way, and this board rolls soooo easy, and goes really fast, thanks to these awesome bearings.
