the doll itself is ok, i can definitely use it as a model reference when im drawing but it has some serious draw backs 1.The stand was extremely loose and that wasnt much of an issue until the plastic crumpled to dust(it broke to pieces rather than dust but it was so damn brittle that grinding it with my fingers was easy) 2.My dolls right leg is molded inward as if it is pigeon toed, so the range in motion is awkward for that leg 3.Im missing the toes for the left foot, i dont really mind since drawing feet is more complicated than a little stub but that says a lot about quality control 4.The case that is meant to hold all of the hands/accessories cracked when putting the stand into its slot so the material is pretty weak there as well An ending note, i was more interested in the doll than i was in the smaller parts, but that doesnt mean i want garbage with the doll. I wont be surprised if the doll breaks in a few weeks from positioning so if u ask me 20 bucks doesnt seem like the ideal deal here edit: after spending more time with it i found that i have 2 right arms, i was wondering why the other arm was strange so yeah, dont spend your money on this with quality control as is changing to a 1 star ... show more

I got both for my fiancé’s birthday and both came out broken, arms broke off when slightly bent, missing stand and other various parts. Also dirty? DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZAON. Go spend the extra money from the ones online. Really disappointed in this product.

With so many counterfeit Figma and Figuarts out there, this looks like the real deal to me. If not, they went to incredible effort all the way down to the booklet and instructions. The images on the Bandai site for the Grey Body Chan DX Set are identical aside from some minor mold casting imperfections. Nice quality, delicate use pose figure. Not going to go well if you try to force the joints! Needs a careful touch. Box had a little deformation and there was some minor smudging on the figure (as if an open box, maybe) but overall a great deal for a real Body Chan DX. The way the base houses so much of the accessories and tiny hand 'trees' is really neat, if a bit fiddly. (no idea why Amazon posted some of the images sideways, but you get the idea) ... show more

    • Cute but breaks when posed
Pros: she’s much more realistic than your standard wooden model. She’s freestanding and comes with a clear base if you want to pose her in a position that needs support. She has all joints you’d expect including wrists, ankles, and 3 separate torso pierces. Proportions seem accurate except the bust is a bit exaggerated. Cons: when you try to pose her, her limbs pop off. Mostly the shoulders. I’m having a hard time posing her arms because you can’t rotate the shoulder joints without dislocating them from their sockets. You can pop the pieces back in, but you still can’t really pose it fully because it’s so fragile. Overall not worth the money, I was going to buy a second one if I liked this but I won’t because of the posing issues. ... show more

Haven’t even had it more than two days and it’s busted af. Going to be buying the ACTUAL body Chan instead of wasting my money on this again. Unfortunately this is the knock-off version, but at least the price is much lower. Unfortunately the pieces feel like they'll pop off with the wrong bend, but if you're VERY gentle, you can work this into the pose you need for your reference pose. I have the legit version and you can definitely tell the difference, but since the legit figure will cost you over $100, this knock off will do the trick. ... show more

I was hoping this product wouldn’t be so bad. But now I know I wasted about $25. I took the figure out and started playing around with The joints to see what I could do. I pulled out the arm and I couldn’t get it back in because the part where the joint connects is stuck inside the chest. Also the shoulder part of the figure is super Janky. I use this for 3D pose reference while making illustrations. When I received the Body-chan there was a pretty intense stiffness in one of the joints that made posing very limited.
