This is really cute on. I got an xl my usual size and it was too small in the rib cage so I gave it to my mom who usually wears a L. It fit her and she looked great! It’s a little more purple than blue imo and the fabric isn’t super high quality but the cut looks good on a curvy body.

As you can see in the first picture, I opted to wear a bright colored camisole underneath because I wanted to wear it to church for my birthday and thought the extra splash of color would be great to match my earrings. I’m about 5‘5“, my husband in the khaki pants is 6‘5“, and the kid next to me is even taller than my husband! So you can see even a short girl can wear a long dress!! 🎉🎉🎉 In the next picture, I had tried the dress on as soon as it came in the mail, so I was wearing it without the Cami underneath. It’s very sheer and if you have cleavage, it will definitely show!! The holes in the dress design go right through to the skin. (Disregard the crutches, but I was excited to have them before my foot surgery. I’m wearing the dress to church in the first picture and if you look closely, you can see I’m actually using the crutches two days after surgery! Ha ha!!) I bought this dress because my husband and I are professional photographers, and it’s important to wear black for important shoots. I wanted to look nice for weddings, and this dress will be perfect. DEFINITELY will be wearing a black camisole for professional photo shoots to cover the open chest area due to the holes in the lace. Get it! But also get a Cami 😉 ... show more

Love this dress! Fit well a little hard to zip around rib cage but once you get the zipper up at fit really well. I’ve worn this to a wedding and I’ve worn it to a funeral. You can dress it up or dress it down.

The dress is really beautiful and very flattering. The skirt is really full and the top has lots of cute, delicate details. Unfortunately, it comes up to about mid-shin on me, and I'm only 5'9. If you're under 5'7, it's probably more flattering. If you're a taller woman, don't expect this to be maxi-length. I'm trying to figure out how I can shorten it to knee-length to be a less awkward length on me. ... show more

This dress is very pretty and fits me well (the waist is a little snug but it works) but the only downfall is the zipper. It always gets stuck in the middle but thank goodness my hubby can always get it for me. The waistline is see-threw so if that's a problem for you I'm sure you could layer underneath (but order up a size for layering) or maybe sew some lining?
