  • good value for my money
Style: Glass Jar
This blender works very good. I was kind of worry that it was not so powerful, but I was surprised that it works just fine. By the way, I had owned/used previously Oster, Ninja blenders. Surprised that I got good value for my money on this blender. I didn't spend much as those other fancy models. By the way, the only reason that I got this blender, it was because my older blender got broken. So far, this blender has been handling tasks like a champ. We have been using this blender for recipes such as "papa a la huancaina", "aji de gallina", etc It worked superb for eating them...yummy!! ... show more

  • Performance
Style: Plastic Jar
It’s a great product. Easy to use and to clean. The engine is powerful enough to make a vegetable drink, including all the fiber stuff. I call it greenie. Just don’t fill it all the way up and expect a miracle. Start with your liquid, leaves and all the softies eg. avocado. Mix it. Add your spices and aromas Mix it. Add the next tuffer stuff, like leek. Mix it. Add the cut beets like reddish, turnip etc. mix it. Add evt. More liquid until it’s ready for a straw. 👍 ... show more

  • Good product for this price
Style: Glass Jar
It’s not the perfect blender, the power is not super strong, but good for this price.

  • Impressive! Works better than my Ninja.
Style: Glass Jar
I bought this product (with great hesitation and after reading many reviews on many blenders!) to specifically make cashew milk. I had my doubts, but it was a major success! I soaked the cashews for only 4 hours…no boiling or anything to soften… and this blender completely pulverized them! I strained afterwards in a nut milk bag, out of curiosity really vs necessity, and this photo is the remnants. It’s literally powdery pulp, no chunks at all. I’m not sure how it would do with a harder nut like almonds, but I’m really impressed! This works better than my Ninja. ... show more

  • Great value
Style: Glass Jar
I use this blender daily for my Kachava shake. It mixes really well even with the added strain of fruit. Might be a bit noisy so I just sing louder!

  • DO NOT BUY IT
Style: Plastic Jar
The media could not be loaded. blender Dear Amazon customer, I utterly ask you NOT to commit to the same rookie mistake I have done. See, since the price was unbeatable, I decided to challenge all the horrible reviews this product has. All the other decent blenders would cost me at least $15 more, and this one happened to be on sale. And I, naively, thought to myself: "well, why not, it can't be that bad, right?"; except that, yes, it can be that bad. As a matter of fact, I dare say this is single-handedly the worst blender I ever had the dissatisfaction to encounter in my life. Words cannot describe the displeasure in my heart when I unpacked it from its box and tried to assemble it. That is why I highly recommend you watching the videos attached to this review. But believe me, I am trying my best to describe it and be convincent, as I do not want you to go through the same pain as me. I am determined to warn as many people as possible, whilst I go through the tortuous process of returning this appliance and buying a new one. Looking from afar it does not look that flawed. The problem begins when one finishes assembling it. The pitcher does not assemble to the blender's body. It simply does not have a locking system, as all blenders I have used in my entire life; it is simply placed on the body, which means that when you turn the blender on, it dances. I did not have the audacity to turn it on having it filled. I understand one can hold the blender while it blends, though I am asking myself who does that. The lid is apparently air sealed, and it is impossible to close or open without applying an Herculean strenght. Which means that if you try to remove it with the pitcher still on the blender, the lid will not come out, but the jar will. This is the perfect combo for a kitchen nightmare. I have to be honest, the last time I got a blender was probably more than a decade ago, and it was of a questionable quality, thus extremely unexpensive. Now, I assumed this Black&Decker would be at least comparable to the old one. But no, it is worse. It is a crime what they are charging for this product, as if it is cost a Dollar would be considered too costly. Anyway, I hope this review helped. Do yourself a favor and spend some extra bucks buying a better blender. Or don't and buy a really cheap one, it is less likely you will be dissatisfied. ... show more

  • Very Noise sub par working blender
Style: Glass Jar
This Blender is slimmer than I expected. The noise level is so annoying. Louder than other blenders we've had. The blade is nothing special and barely gets the job done. After several months of use we couldn't take the sound anymore and replaced it with a better blender.

  • Exactly what I needed
Style: Glass Jar
Such a great addition to my kitchen! It is so easy to clean, so many speeds, and not as loud as my last one (but obviously not super quiet). For a busy mom of kids who love smoothies and blended soups, this has been a game changer. My kids help blend things because it's that easy and fun to use.
