  • Best headphones I have discovered yet.
I am very peculiar about headphones. I'll explain why these are the best I have found so far. First off, I have never cared for wireless headphones. "Typical" wireless headphones fall out/off when I sweat, period. Well, they used to. These have a bit of weight to them, which I find outstanding, they are over-the-ear, and they are behind the neck. Which means they STAY IN PLACE while running/working out (and they sound decent too). I want to point out the cons of other headphones to show why I've come to my conclusion. Over the head bands tend to fall forward or backwards on your head while working out. Over the ear without a band headphones fall out/off of my ear while running. In-ear headphones fall out of my ear after sweating. I've had behind-the-neck headphones that were wireless that "wound" up for easy storage and when I wore them, they would "wind" up and away off my ear immediately (completely useless for working out). I hated those the most. So, I've mostly stuck with corded behind-the-neck headphones because they were cheap and they stayed put on my head. And the cheap headphones I had, the cord was too long, so it would always get in the way, or get caught on something all the time (like public toilets, yuck) and the sounds was mediocre at best. But they worked. However, these solve ALL of those problems. The great: The stiff and foldable "strap" behind-the-neck keeps the speakers over-the-ear in place and they don't rotate at all on my head. The weight of the speakers keeps them from bouncing off my ears. The padding is soft and good. While I was running, I didn't have to think about the cord swinging around or re-adjusting them due to movement, I almost forgot they were there and was just listening to music. It was amazing. The bass in these are pretty great for the price. The battery life is amazing. It feels like days of watching YouTube and working out before it needs to be charged. I don't normally mess with the buttons on the side, but I do know that when I am watching Youtube and I accidentally press the speaker button, the YouTube video pauses for me, and the volume buttons work as expected. So, there is great functionality for those that use it. And they stay in place while running. Did I mention that was the most important thing to me? As long as these are made, I will buy them whenever I need headphones. Now for the not-so-good: As others have mentioned, they do seem to be made for smaller/normal type heads. I typically wear a 7 5/8 hat, meaning I have a pretty big dome, and most of the time I don't feel the "tightness" of the strap hugging the back of my head, but it does happen once in a while. I know that sounds kind of weird that it sounds like my head changes shape sometimes (I don't think it does), but it is what it is, and it only happens once in a while. Another nit-picky thing is that it takes between 3 and 5 seconds to turn off and on. Which granted isn't a big deal, but I sometimes miss the first (up to 20) seconds of a video (while watching 2x speed) and it's a tiny annoyance. I have to realize they are off, hit the button to turn them on, wait for the "doo-doo-doo" (increasing higher in pitch), and then connect, "beep" (and it connects really fast as well). Last little con, my ears were kind of warm while running. It's not lost on me, that I can have medium sized, cushioned, over the ear headphones and not have that act as an insulator for heat for my ears (unless there is some miraculous new technology). I just wanted to point it out. Again, these small annoyances are miniscule in comparison to the utility and sound of these headphones for the price. I absolutely love these headphones! UPDATE: I've ran a few times now, and I think because the volume button has the slightest amount of play, it almost sounds like there is something lightly bouncing around in the right ear (the side with all the buttons) while running. I am learning to ignore this. It's not terribly distracting for me, but it's there. I still love these headphones so far. UPDATE-UPDATE. I haven't run for a while and recently got back into it. I haven't noticed any of the "something lightly bouncing around." I actually forgot about that noise until I stumbled on my review again. So, your mileage may vary with that noise. And by the way, almost a year later, I still absolutely love this headset. So, pro-tip for the manufacturer, a little gasket or rubber piece for the volume button would make a nearly perfect headset. ... show more

  • These are really awesome headphones for the money
These are really awesome headphones for the money. They are super comfortable being they mount behind the head and don't mess up your hair. The sound is impressive to say the least. Nice bass, mid's AND highs. The only problem I can see is that there is noise at high volume levels. When I listen to the sound from my home stereo I simply turn the volume down on the Besign headphones and crank the volume as needed on the surround receiver. This works out great and the sound is crispy and clear. The battery life is outstanding at 25 hours, and for that alone they are worth double the price. A very good bargain to say the least. They do have track & volume controls but they are a wee bit awkward to use as opposed to the Arctic P311 bluetooth headphones which have dedicated buttons on the side of the right side earpiece for volume up, down, and skip track/rewind/fast forward. The Bedesign headphones have a volume up and down button which also serves as track skip and back buttons, but you need to press volume up or down TWICE to get the phones to register a skip/back track command and sometimes the phones simply refuse to acknowledge this command, although it is not too often. Other than this con, they are quite a good value for the money. I have spent quite a few dollars on audiophile headphones so I do have experience with the sound, and I can tell you these sound quite crisp through out all ranges of the frequencies and will astound you with their clarity for this price. They also have quite a cool modern look to them with the black frame and headphones themselves. Also the black patterned fabric over the ear pieces is a nice touch too. I get compliments all the time. They seem to be reliable and I have to admit, I like them quit e abit but I don't use them as my walk around headphones simply because the double button punch requirement for track forward/backward is a bit of a pain and I use my Arctic P311's instead for this. I do however prefer the Besigns for listening to my home receiver and my Playstation 4. In a nutshell these headphones are quite worth the price. In fact, the price is astounding considering how much tech and sound quality they managed to pack into these. Hope that helps. ... show more
