  • Echo Dot and Soundbar happy now
My soundbar and my echo dot were plugged into a common power strip. Noise was horrible using aux cable, but was clean using blue tooth (aux cable produced a ground loop). I wanted the aux cabled connection because blue tooth would disconnect when soundbar powered down. This thing worked perfectly. I'm pretty sure my power strip is noisy power. I run the Alexa directly off of a USB power port on the power strip (no "wall wart" usb power adapter). The Vizio soundbar was plugged into a standard AC power outlet on that same strip. Bad noise. This gadget did just what I needed. Alexa sound now overlays nicely with soundbar seamlessly with no buzz or noise. Voice assistant mode on Vizio is quite nice in this setup. ... show more

  • Mine worked, really worked GREAT. I am shocked, but happy, would recommend to others.
I paid full price; I am not a professional reviewer or paid by Amazon or the manufacturer. I have a speaker/subwoofer PC sound system made by Phillips. It has 2 speakers & a woofer, fed by a 3.5mm input jack. I had no noise until I added a splitter so I could have 2 laptops share the same speaker system. This is when the noise, which was hum & other random noise that was very apparent through the speakers. Even at low volumes, you could hear the noise, I might make a video to show how bad it was.. In the past I purchased a similar device to get rid of background noise, I think it was related to a USB powered speaker I used in the past. Well, the other unit did not work, and the noise persisted. I am pleased to report that this model noise defeating device worked great. Once I plugged it in, the noise is 100% gone. Not reduced, but back to the way it was before I added the splitter. I am not sure why using a Y cable between 2 laptops would create this situation (the noise), but this device did what I intended it to do. Just my experience, I am sure others will have different results. I am happy and I would buy this model again if needed. EDIT: 1 month update: Still working GREAT! Like another reviewer, null/Toddi, said: "Noise from GPU and mouse movements, and background noise from the laptop especially full screen". That is exactly what I was hearing BEFORE I installed this device. I like it so much I bought a spare just in case. It eally kills the PC noise that comes from a desktop of laptop. I actually tried the USB powered speakers from before, and without the device the USB powered speakers pickup USB noise. When I installed this with the USB speakers, it once again killed the noise. Whatever "magic" is inside this unit, it really works. I was going to try a isolator power plug device and ferrite loops, but I am glad I tried this first. I think someone in the questions said that they tried the ferrite cores and ISO power to no avail. I would have wasted a lot more money if I went that route. I would suggest anyone with noise try this FIRST. The price more than justifies an attempt at letting this device get rid of your noise. As for killing low end, I do use Spotify to listen to 80's rock and jazz, and I have not heard any low end problems. I do have a woofer and 2 speakers/drivers in my Phillip[s PC sound system. ... show more

  • PERFECTION!!
I have an Echo Auto 1st generation in my truck. Not to be confused with Android auto that comes pre-installed in newer vehicles. Echo auto will work with older vehicles without a display. It adds "Alexa" features, where you can ask for directions, ask her to play music, navigate somewhere, what time McDonalds is open till, make calls etc... All hands free. There has always been a high pitched whining noise. The faster you went, the louder and higher pitched it got. People you are talking on the phone hear it and get really annoyed. Been meaning to order this product for a long, long time, just kept forgetting. Works A1!!! You can have it plugged in and Crank the radio volume all the way up, and it is TOTALLY SILENT, just like the radio is not turned on!! Well worth the $10 (as of this writing) price!! Wish I would have bought this thing years sooner. Wife is happy when I call her hands free now! ... show more

  • Worked for feedback in my car.
I had a problem when plugging my phone into my car’s cigarette lighter, and playing audio through the 3.5mm jack of my car using a rockstar charge and play adapter. This reduced the noise significantly, but not completely.

  • It works! It absolutely works!
It works! This product absolutely, positively works! I have been chasing a bad ground in my 8 foot amp rack for months. Months I have spent tearing my hair out trying to find the leak and cannot find it. My music and have movies plagued with buzz and clicking. I've warrantied amplifiers and EQs thinking a PSU or an internal processor is failing but have had no success. I then turned to a VERY well respected audio company out of Colorado who has a product you plug into your wall to kill noise loops (if that's where it's coming from) and that didn't help. I spent $150 on it and cried when it didn't help. But it did assure me the ground issue wasn't coming from my electrical system. I turned to Amazon to see what was available. To my shock other people had bought this little $10 adapter and had great luck with it. So I thought "what the heck, cant be worse than a $150 adapter" and bought it. I got it today, plugged it inline in my processing rack and ................................. silence. Dead.............. Glorious silence! It's silent! I couldn't believe it. This little thing actually works. I am so pleased. So, if you're an audiophile and you have a high end audio system or run a studio that has ground loop buzz and hum from your electronics, and you have chased your tail around and around like I have, buy this product. Don't think about it just do it. Keep in mind this product will not correct ground loop buzz in a faulty electrical feed from a box, it is designed to run inline in your home, professional and automotive setups. ... show more

  • Whirrr is gone 100%
This thing is absolutely amazing. 100% worth it. The audio seems to have lost some loudness, but there's not a trace of whining noise left. Losing a little volume is a small price to pay for getting rid of that annoying whining noise. Especially at this price range.
