It arrived sort of folded down around the bowl, and I was skeptical. Once I decompressed the plant, it is now one of my favorites, and I plan to buy more. I wouldn't try to make this a floor plant, because it is smaller than some of the other snake plants offered, but that's ok. I have plenty of places to put something like this plant.     • Bent tips are fixable

With all the negative reviews about tips being bent I still decided to purchase (was the height I needed). All 3 long & 2 short leaves were bent on mine. It's fixable! Here is how: place plant bent leaf (one at a time) on hard heat resistant surface. Place a pressing cloth or thin towel on top of leaf. Starting at very low temperature on clothes iron, place on top of cloth. Allow heat to penitrate through cloth. Lift iron & pull cloth back to see if plastic is warm. If not, increase heat a little more & repeat until plastic is soft, then place heavy object (like a heavy book) on leaf till cool. DO NOT place iron directly on plastic it will melt. Do not be in a hurry. See my results in photo. Yes, It would have been nice if they used a longer box to ship in but I can't control that nor did I want to send it back. ... show more

I bought this to replace a real snake plant when I discovered that snake plant is toxic to cats. It happens to be the same size and color as my real one was. I walk past it and can't tell the difference ! I put the pot that this comes with directly into the slightly larger pot that I had used with the real plant and put some small rocks around the "dirt" area and this makes it look even more real. ... show more
