This cloak is far better quality than I expected. It's the perfect weight for winters on the mid-Atlantic coast, where it can be 25 degrees in the morning, and 60 by afternoon. I'm 5'4", and it hits at just above my ankles. It's a nice length, just be careful when walking up stairs so you don't step on the hem. The pockets are great, and situated in a way that my phone doesn't fall out. They're easy to reach through the arm slits, and while not huge, roomy enough to hold a phone and a light pair of gloves in the same pocket. Others have noted the button seems loose, and yes, it does. I haven't decided yet whether I'm going to secure it better, or take the button and flap off and use a cloak pin or a different cloak closure. The hood is roomy, and doesn't squish my hair. It's big enough you can kind of 'hide' in it if you want to. If you've always wanted a cloak but haven't gotten one because you don't want to be disappointed by a cheap Halloween-costume type piece, get this one. My only regret with this cloak is not buying it sooner.

I really am happy with this cloak, I would have given a 5-star rating; had I not found silk gloves in the pocket, meaning it was sold to me new and it was obviously a return. I ordered this at the last minute and it arrived a day early, which was good. I needed it to wear over a formal dress that I wore to a black-tie wedding; which by the way was outdoors on one of the coldest evenings. It kept me very warm, and it is high-quality material. Overall, I am happy I ordered it. The color is black, the picture makes it look charcoal, but it is black, which is what I wanted.

How could this cape possibly be this good at this price point?! It is completely perfect. Arm slits, pockets, and lining (which is satin but not shiny in a too-shiny way)-- it seemed too good to be true, but I gave it a shot and man, was I amazed! This cape is warm, beautifully constructed, everything one could want. I will say only one thing that is a minus-- the hood is massive; of course one does want that drapey hood look, but I do have to fuss with it a bit to get the hood to look like it out to, it's just very large. But for what I paid, that is so minor. If you are thinking about this-- go for it! If it's helpful, I am 5'4" and this hits at my upper ankle/low shin. I think it would work for most heights. SO HAPPY!!!!

I love everything about this. It has arm slits & pockets. It’s floor length (I’m 5’3 w/no heels) and @135/140 pounds. It fits perfectly & is warm. Went to an October wedding, low 50’s and was comfortable. This cloak/cape is fully lined. The hood is large and stays in place pretty well. The button is hard to undo, so I just slipped it on and off (works for me since I’m not handy with replacing into a different closure) It also shipped early and arrived one day earlier. If you’re on the fence about buying this- buy it !!! I’m super particular about what I want. Super happy with this purchase & would recommend every time. Thank you :)

This is extremely oversized...as in big enough to fit a large man!!! Very disappointed and hope to be able to have a tailor downsize it and salvage it for my needs. On the positive side the fabric is heavy and I imagine it will be warm.

I bought this because I liked the look of it and knew we had a cold day at the Renaissance Fair coming up. I had no idea I’d wind up wearing it everywhere. It is warm, comfortable, sits well on the shoulders. It is protective in rain and wind. I am so very happy with this purchase.
