These looked great and I had a wonderful time wearing them around the ski-in ski-out resort we stayed at on our last ski trip. These boots definitely get you noticed and it was great fun raking in the compliments. However, the next trip was to a hotel that was not ski-in, ski-out and we were going to be constantly walking through slushy parking lots, clambering through snowdrifts and tromping down snowy sidewalks to get to dinner, etc. I called the company before the trip to see if there was some way to waterproof/stainproof these for outdoor wear. That was a hard no. They said treating the boots with any such treatment, even the one they make for their other boots, would ruin them. So these are fashion boots only, I'm afraid. So sexy, numerous compliments. I would say, I should have gotten a 10. By big toe on rite foot rubs. Kinda annoying, but I put a bandaid on it. So that works. If ur a 9 go up as ur toe may rub. Other then that they are warm, great for snow. Light rain and cold. I don't wear socks,and my feet where nice and toasty. I did spray weather protection on the entire boot. Good get them. These boots are gorgeous and unique, however they run small. I had to return them and am waiting for them to go back down to the price I paid so that I can re-buy them in the next size up. I have three other Bearpaw brand boots which fit in my normal size, but this style is definitely smaller by a size. (They only come in whole sizes.) Order one size up! ... show more

I own a pair of white Boetis Bearpaw which I purchased from HSN. So I knew to size up for a perfect fit. HSN had sold out of my the black boots, which is why I searched Amazon. The Bearpaw store prices change constantly, which I don’t understand. These boots went from $160. 00 to $171.00 in a couple of days. I really wanted the black so I purchased the boots. The day my order arrived, the Bearpaw store was selling the same boots in the same color and size for $149.00. What the??? A $22.00 DECREASE? I’m sending them back. ... show more
