Over the years, I've had lots of oven mitts. But now, I was searching for gloves instead, since the mitts lacked the dexterity I always yearned for. So after reading many, many online reviews, I happened upon these gloves, and they sounded good. I ordered two pairs, so that when one gets dirty and needs to be washed, I'll have a clean one ready to go. They come in two colors, either black or red. I got both pairs of my gloves in red, since they kinda look cool, in a Spiderman(ish) way! (Btw, that's the first thing my wife said, when she saw me wear them.) As far as performance goes, they have kept my hands safe from heat burns; and since they have long cuffs, they helped keep my forearms from accidental contact burns too (by my measurement, the gloves are 14" long from the tip of the middle finger to the end of the cuffs). They have a universal fit, and I have large hands which the gloves fit comfortably. What I like the most is the good grip and dexterity I get when using these gloves. With all the oven mitts, I always had a fear of the dish/pan slipping out of my hands. But with these, I feel confident handling hot kitchenware of any size! I've used my first pair for over a couple of weeks now, and it feels durable and well-made. The gloves come with many pairs of food-prep type gloves included for free, which is a nice add-on. I haven't had to wash the gloves yet, but it says to just rub some dishwashing liquid on it and rinse. I'm debating whether I could throw them in the washing machine. So far, so good! ... show more

I like that the mitts cover your hands with a firm fit and are long enough to cover the majority of your arm. They are well made and I use them when cooking on my BBQ grill. They have not failed me and I don't get burned which is the reason I bought the mitts. I would recommend these mitts they are worth the money. ... show more

I recently purchased these gloves to use with my Blackstone griddle, and overall, I’m quite satisfied. While they are slightly big on me, they are still very comfortable to wear. The extra room hasn't caused any issues and actually makes them easy to put on and take off. One of the main reasons I bought these gloves was for heat protection, and they do the job. I can handle hot utensils and surfaces without feeling the heat, which gives me confidence while cooking. The material seems durable and of decent quality, will try and update in a few weeks. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is the fit. If you have smaller hands like I do, you might find them a bit large. ... show more

Well made, fit is fine and easy to get on and off. There is no heat transfer from pans removed from oven to your hands. Also, the gloves extend pass the wrist, thereby making it safe to remove hot pans from oven without burning wrist or arm. Great buy!

I use these for my pellet stove, for ending the pellet bowl while it's still hot. I can grab onto the extremely hot metal with these gloves with no issue at all. I used them for the entire winter season this past season and they worked great! Very happy with this purchase!
