Can't not say it enough! This light is amazing! The light does not give off excessive amounts of heat like other lights i've tried. I love not only the coverage, ease of use, and adjustability. But this light has done wonders for my pup, plants, corms, bulbs, any stage of life. 10/10 buy the light; you won't regret it! If you are like me and going through many different options on grow lights, this is where you want to end that search. I held off for a few months to write this review because I wanted to grow a plant beneath it, and look at the quality of that plants growth over a period of time. I’d like to start off by saying that I am a legal farmer in my state. I am blown away, frankly. Lights in this price range usually do not have the spectrum or the quality that this light has. It has sufficiently carried me through the grow of a massive autoflowering plant, that has had no lighting issues. I’d expect results like this from an LED at 5x the cost. The driver is holding up well, and I keep a small clip fan blowing on all of my lights just to ensure a longer life, but other than that it has not needed any maintenance. I would not recommend this for anything smaller than a 3x3 tent, as it is quite powerful even at its highest hanging point. It’s flowering footprint is also quite impressive, and the way the panels bend is a nice touch for people that want that spectrum of light to cover a broader range of plants. I have not found it necessary to bend the panels because the light fills up a 3x3 in a more than adequate manner, for my purposes. Below are some pictures of a DWC (hydroponic) autoflower I’ve grown solely under this light. If you’re wondering what my final take away is… I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this light again. There is nothing better in its price range. I’ve got lights from companies that are three to five times the cost, and this one is definitely worth looking at if you’re on a budget and want fantastic results. ... show more

Update.... I have purchased 3 of these. The on off switch on the cord to one of them is not working correctly making the light unusable. I have tried to contact them multiple times. Amazon keeps intercepting and no resolution has heen found. I would like to exchange the broken one for a working one. I have also purchased other types of lights from the company but never had problems with any of them until now. Now that I am having a problem it is impossible to reach seller to ask for replacement. Very dissatisfied with customer service Great veg light but doesn't flower as well as I hoped it would. I wouldn't flower under it even in a 3x3... but cannot be beaten as a veg light. Creates great canopy and makes plants grow fast and strong. Very happy as far as veg goes. Didn't have huge high hopes for flowering under this (its only 200 watts) so I wasn't really disappointed. Since I got 1 I have told many friends and they all use these for veg now. Covers 4x4 veg without a problem. ... show more

I just got this light in today and installed it. Let me start by saying I researched every other LED grow light on the market. This light has a 16" footprint but can cover a 4x3. Its small profile and really sleek and solid design. I'm glad I didn't pay twice as much for other grow lights since this one does just about everything at 200W!! I install lights for a living and anything else with 12-4160Volts for that matter. And let me tell you, it was only going to be a matter of time before the fast pace and ever changing LED market started pricing out these "grow light" companies. All the misconceptions around growing cannabis lead people to believe things like "the ballast is the most important part of any light". Well sorry folks an expensive meanwell driver works just as good as the cheap ones. I've put Chinese drivers throughout entire million dollar buildings and trust me developers are realizing that an LED strip behind a diffuser is just as good. Mind you that buildings are inspected so that they will last much longer than your grow tent will. Too many companies like mh, vs, and vivosun are wasting money on unnecessary manufacturing which is paid by the consumer. It seems Barrina (not a mom and pop shop by any means) has figured out that unless were showing our lights off to our wall street buddies or in mansion as a chandelier, we don't care how it looks to us! Its about what the plants see, and this light has every spectrum. 700+ LEDs used to cost you a grand or two. Now you can get the same results for 10x less than most other light shops. Check the PPFD charts and compare them to lights of similar canopy size. I will update after first harvest. Plus++ this light comes with an albeit limited 3 year warranty. ... show more

absolutely insane coverage. Surely made for a 5ft x 5ft tent. I grew 3 pineapple express maryjane plants with these. With all the gadgets; moisture monitor, soil moisture monitor, liquid plant feed, temperature monitor, and a fan. My plants where over 3 1/2 ft. tall in less than 5 weeks. Very heavy duty build lights and the top does get hot. obviously had to move 2 other plants out of the tent and into new ones at that point. wasn't able to close the tent at that point the branches and leafs. It was an absolute jungle. was pulling nearly 450 on the light monitor 3 feet away from the top of the plants at 1/4 max setting on the lights dial. You'll want at least a 15 foot ceiling to get the most use out of this light. ... show more

Good light for the price. Detached the converter to keep heat down in my grow tent. Gets pretty hot at 100%. Move it closer to your plants and run at 70% and it works well.
