I normally hate microfiber. But I read the good review and decided to take a chance and order the duvet. I bought an expensive white oversized king down alternative comforter from Macys that is 120x120. I needed something close to that size. I spent a day looking at duvet covers on Amazon and decided to give this one a shot. We had no piling. It’s important to follow the washing and drying instructions which clearly say to wash on cold and dry on low. It turned out beautifully. We promptly removed from the dryer and were able to minimize the wrinkles. This duvet cover is so soft. Literally feels buttery smooth. I was so scared I’d get overheated but I’ve been comfortable every night. I love cuddling in bed under my duvet. We have 2 cavalier King Charles spaniels and we have not had any issues with dog hair sticking to the fabric. Having the cover will save us from having to wash our white comforter so frequently. Dogs make messes and if they have any dirt on their feet you know it’ll show up on your perfect white comforter. Our comforter did not have any loops. What I did was pinch a small amount of comforter and knotted it around the fabric. It worked out great for us. ... show more

It's slim pickings in the oversized queen duvet department, and I was on the fence about buying this with the many mixed reviews. But..I'm so happy that I did. It fits my comforter perfectly and is sooo super soft. I love that it is lightweight and doesn't add add any extra bulk or heaviness after stuffing my comforter inside. Not sure why some people feel it is so wrinkly, as you can see mine is smooth as butter on my bed. The only downside is both the color selection ( i wish there were more options) and the photos of the available colors not being accurate. This is the sandwashed pebble beach and it is not nearly as warm toned as the photo shows and in person is actually much closer to the sandwashed fog pic. I looked at my packaging and couldn't find a color name on the zippered pouch, so I'm assuming I was sent the right thing and the pics are off. ... show more

I loved this duvet cover when I first got it! It was so soft! Unfortunately the students was short lived because this driver cover pills like crazy. I noticed after only a few washes. Now it is so pulled and scratchy I have to replace it. I wouldn't buy this again

I had to pay good money to have my two comforters professionally washed. Then I found and ordered this Bare Home Duvet Cover, and am I ever glad I did. My comforter fits perfectly in it, and the softness and color make for a much better feel and appearance of my bed overall.
