I purchased the Bamse impact wrench primarily for use working on my car. It conveniently comes with standard socket sizes for lug nuts. So for those that are looking for a one stop tool for tire changes this is a good choice. The tool comes in a nice box that holds the wrench, battery, charger, and a small set of sockets and bits. It has a number of features that many other impact wrenches don't including a light, three speed ranges, battery indicator, and my favorite the auto stop on reverse. I can't tell you how nice that it is to have the tool quickly stop when a lug nut breaks loose instead of spinning it all the way off aggressively like the other impact wrench I have. It uses a pin and o-ring mechanism to secure the sockets, as opposed to the more widely used detent ball. To each his own. The sockets fit on snug enough that I generally don't use the pin and o-ring. I've had the tool for a few weeks now and have no complaints.     • Great Product at a GREAT PRICE
I don't review every product I purchase but I always take the time to review a product that exceeds my expectations! I was looking for a impact wrench to have available for two reasons in my life. The first being I have had to have a total shoulder replacement, and because of that I have to be very careful how much pressure and strain I put on that arm and shoulder if I do any work. With that said I have a riding lawn mower that I would like to be able to make sure the blades come off and are sharpened periodically, and using the impact wrench gives me a piece of mind and handles the job easily without worry of hurting myself again. As well my feeling was that I would also keep the wrench in my car and have it to remove the lug nuts on the tire in case of a flat. It handled this job easily as I tried it to make sure it could do so. I also want to mention their customer service dept is great and beside the 30 day return policy Amazon gives you, if you register your tool the company gives you a total of two years warranty and replacement in case of any issues.. I typically use air tools for taking off tires and breaking loose stubborn bolts and had desired a battery impact, but the good ones were pretty expensive. Decided to give this one a try and it's been great so far. Tool looks great (love the red/black), comes with the sockets I typically need and all in a convenient carrying case. Super cool! To test it out, I just walked out in the garage and started removing lug nuts from my car and then all 8 off of my trailer. Was shocked at how easy it worked. I think I'm going to get some use out of this! So far so good! Love the convenience of not needing to fill up my compressor and running a hose. ... show more

I bought this to "fingers crossed" help me get this crank shaft job on my Chevy Equinox. I didn't go for the more expensive because I'm not a mechanic but the shop wanted $600 to replace a maybe $15 part. I was doubtful and was expecting to have to take it to the shop. NOPE!!!! This thing took that bolt off with ease after a couple of pops from the drill!!!! I was like ain't no way!!! But yes way! Now I'm looking for the next project to tackle with this baby! The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with everything about this quality but affordable Bamse Hammer Drill Impact Tool. Please let me tell you some of the reasons why: 1. First Appearance: Packaging and literature is impressive and well done. That was a good sign to me. The carrying case is small and particularly sturdy. Along with the drill there is the battery, charging unit and four sockets that are most often the size needed for light to medium work. Also, there is a handy adapter to allow the use of various screw driver bits, with a half dozen of the most useful styles included (slotted, phillips and star). Locking pins and retainer rings are included to lock the driver sockets for heavier duty tasks. 2. The instruction manual is exceptionally well written (considering what some tool manuals are like today). It is important to read because the battery pack has some power settings and control functions built into it and YOU will want to understand all the special features! Slight learning curve there. QR codes are provided, too, which open to YouTube videos for additional helpful instruction. 3. The 4Ah battery adds a bit of bulk to the tool, but not overly so. Considering some other brand tools have batteries that cost more than this whole unit, and if you are looking for a home/hobby tool, this fits the bill. I have not used it in heavy duty industrial work, as I don't think that is the design purpose and usage for this tool. You will have to judge the task requirements and suitability as you get familiar with the wrench. However, I wouldn't hesitate to put it to any task as and when the need arose. 4. Warranty: it has a 2 year warranty, which tells me the manufacturer considers this a very durable and sturdy device. 5. Conclusion: First appearance is excellent.     • Nice All-Purpose Tool - Solid Construction
Most important to me is the versatility of the tool. The construction is heavy and very solid - it takes a little getting used to slipping on some of the sockets - but the connections are all secure and there is no slipping. This tool is NOT light. You can use to to drive screws but to use it to drywall an entire room is probably not the best choice unless you're a bigger guy (or woman) and can handle the extra weight. The ergonomics of the drill itself is it's best feature...the tool becomes an extension of your hand. A contractor would probably benefit from buying a second battery for this tool. My understanding is lighter batters also fit the base. You can easily pay twice as much for this tool will sexier brand names. But if you want a tool that Works and will last - this is a great choice. ... show more
