We use these as portable HDMI cables for our on site video shoots and I feel like they can take a lot of abuse.. If you are looking for a cable that is going to be taped to the ground and stepped on, these are the ones. If you want a soft easy to make really sharp bends, soft to the hands, you are not pulling on it or stepping on it, then this cable is over kill. But if you don't mind a little more effort making a sharp bend and need a strong cable that can be pulled through walls or stepped on and not broken, then this is the HDMI cable AND you don't have to pay any more for them. I can say that after a week long video shoot that was totally abusive to these HDMI cables they are still working. ... show more
