I am disappointed that it does not have an auto shut off. That would have been a nice feature to have. When the straightener is turned over you cannot tell if it is on or off. I think at this price that would have been a nice safety feature to add. It is a longer straightener than others I have had so not as convenient for travel but it will work if needed. ... show more
