  • Great for school projects
Style: 6 pack
We have four kids, so we always have some kind of project going on. We use a lot of glue sticks especially during the school year. We've tried every glue stick out there, and I think most of them are exactly the same. What makes this stick stand out is the disappearing color. It goes on blue, but quickly becomes invisible. This helps small kids see where they still need to apply glue, and gives the overall project a nice look when finished. It's also water washable, so it quickly washes out of clothes, carpet, desks and hands. It's also non-toxic, just in case someone tries a taste. They also claim it's acid free to protect photos and scrapbooking, although we don't use it for that purpose. We buy this glue and send it in to teachers to have in the classroom - it's inexpensive and they appreciate it. With free Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25, this is a good deal. ... show more

  • Excellent glue sticks
Style: 18 pack
An excellent add on buy for my kids teachers! I love the color that disappears as the glue dries, it is a great teaching tool for kids to know where the glue goes and to not have to use a ton of glue. I gave a box to each teacher and they were stoked. I will be buying these again for them when they run out, you should too! Avery is well known to the educators as making a good consistent product that kids age 5 and up can easily use. The cap is simple to take on and off and it is easy to dial up the tube for more of less as needed. ... show more

  • Much better than licking envelopes
Works very well. It’s a huge help you have a lot of envelopes to seal. Holiday cards, event invitations- it’s great for both. Easy to use and seals the envelope quite well. The fact that it is purple until it dries helps you see clearly exactly where you’re applying it (envelope flaps aren’t that big and you don’t want to smear it on the letter/card). If you are using it for a large number of envelopes, though, be sure to not use too much - if you apply too thick of a layer it will squish out the sides when you seal the envelope. A lot of people use stickers or tape to seal envelopes instead of using the adhesive on the envelope but stickers don’t adequately seal the envelope for the mail and the tape is very visible- this is a much more attractive solution (and you can still use a sticker if you want). I hate the taste of the adhesive on envelopes. If it’s just one of two it’s ok - 20+ gets pretty bad. ... show more

  • Easy to use by adults
Style: 18 pack
Easy to use by adults, but kids seem to have difficulty adjusting to the mechanics of this glue stick and tend to waste a great deal amount of glue (glue being pushed through the tube, similar to the old form of glue that we squeeze the tube to push glue out, seem to be a foreign concept to the students because they probably were used to the newer model of glue sticks in which we twist the tube to raise the glue out of the stick). ... show more

  • The Best - Strongest - Glue Sticks On The Market!!
Style: 18 pack
These are the best glue sticks I have ever used. I sell hundreds of items a month online and use these glue sticks to secure all of my shipping labels. The glue is super sticky and goes on purple so you know where you put it. In addition, it dries fast - like within 30 seconds fast. So make sure that you put it on quick and secure your items in place. Once it dries, this glue sticks. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs good glue. It is highly worth the extra money. ... show more
