The product only heats on one side. The other side gets trapped with all humidity. I put 16 eggs and only three seem to be making it because the other side just too cold but the incubator says internal temperature is 100°.

We used this to hatch about 15 eggs. You can never really tell if it's the egg or the incubator if some eggs don't hatch, so I won't base my review on the amount of successful hatches. That being said, we only had about half of the hatch. You can take that information and do with it what you want. Overall, it was easy to use. However, I wasn't sure about the humidity reading and if it was accurate. You can control the temperature and humidity and it's pretty large so you can fit quite a few eggs in it. ... show more

Do not buy this product. It's temperature is off by 10 degrees as compared to my hygrometer. You cannot control the humidity also and it's humidity is too high.

    • Nice incubator with great features, starting a batch of eggs now!
This will be part one of a review that should eventually will be updated once eggs hatch. Initial setup is easy, with clear instructions. Features for the price are very good. Temp control, alarms for when temp or humidity are out of desired specs to incubate the eggs. Even has a built in candler LED - this is what you use as the eggs develop, and is a light which you place the eggs on built in to the cover, shines up through the egg and is bright enough for you to see the developing chick embryo inside if all is going to plan in the egg's development. This helps you remove any not progressing appropriately. Have it setup and it has stabilized at 100 degrees and at 56% humidity, perfect for week one of egg incubation. Will have to see how the next 21 days progress. Promising start. At this time this gets a five star rating from me and a recommend. No cons at this time. ... show more

I like the design. The clear cover makes it easy to see inside and watch the eggs hatch. But the thermistat and humidity controls are way off. I put 2 thermometers inside in 2 places and to get the temp to 99.2 I had to set the incubator temp to 104. So can't trust its temp gadge. It was also hard to get it to set and stay. I have 65 quail eggs in it now will see how many I can get to hatch. I do like the way you put water in for the humidity so you don't have to keep opening the lid. And waters will come in handy when they get older. Also don't like there is no way to contact the maker on the how to operate packet. The first 2 pictures are this incubator with cover and I had a big blanket still not correct temp. The 3rd pick is my older incubator same thermometer. It is perfect. They have sent me another incubator same issue. Any idea how to adjust temp. It will only go to 103 on theirs but still only get to 97 with my thermometer. ... show more

    • Don’t buy!!!
Worst incubator I’ve ever had. Out of 15 eggs only 3 hatch both times I’ve tried. The alarm is always going off. The humidity is never high enough. Such a huge waste of money

    • Worked pretty well
I didn't have too much trouble at all using this. I don't have much experience with incubators, but this one did well. We had a good hatch rate the few times we've used it. Its made farm life even better.
