As a beekeeper 🐝 I find that this is the very best substance to get your smoker going. The smoke is lite and gives off cool white vapor. Place some dried herbs, and even orange peels to continue the slow burning of things, burlap is a great way to get the flames started. ❤️🔥

    • Doesn’t burn as long as it says it would
This too also lasts maybe 5 minutes of pure white thick smoke…then dies…i tried layering it with other bee smoker pellets to see if it would even last longer…and it doesn’t. We go through an entire roll in less than 30min. We use this at farmers markets as we are a vendor who attracts BEES! And smoke is the only thing that keeps them at bay…too bad we would have to burn the entire stash to even get close to the end of the market which is about a 3-5hr event. ... show more

    • Not worth the price
The package contained two plastic bags, one of which contained 8 small rolls of burlap, the other bag was packed full of scraps of burlap about 3” square. Not worth the price for burlap scrap garbage. I guess it will smoke all the same but the ad stated rolls of burlap, not burlap scrap pieces.

    • This burlap smells & has been treated with some kind of chemicals
This burlap smels like it was treated with chemicals! The description says it can be used for fuel to smoke honey bees, BUT I WOULD NOT USE THIS ON BEES. The chemicals on this burlap would not be safe for bees.

So far, they do everything I could ask for. I got tired of hunting down pine needles (though they are free). I didn't have to use a lot to get enough smoke to do two hives worth of activities. I am not entirely sure how long this pack will last me, but with the ease of it, I may be back for more if I can't locate a good pine needle source! ... show more
