I've got a lot of experience with Atika Hiking Sandles. These are my 3rd pair and they appear to be as good as the first. Well made, nothing sloppy. I wear Atika sandles all year weather permitting. My first pair are similar to this model, I got years ago and they are still holding up. They are my beater pair for working the yard and car now. I estimate I've walked/hiked multiple hundreds of miles in the first pair. You can see good wear on the soles now and the webbing is starting to let go as expected. Still very usable. I put them through a lot of punishment. They hurt my feet after the first hike but I determined it was due to using muscles and tendons in a way my feet weren't used to. I stuck with them and they are comfortable now and the new pair is the same. I think the fit is actually better for your feet than standard shoes. I don't need to worry about socks all summer! No foot fungus is another benefit. When they get dirty I just hose them off and they dry like new. My personal experience with these were life changing. I rarely wear running or other shoes anymore in three of four seasons. The price is fair and I would bet they are superior to others costing twice as much. Great protection. ... show more

    • No Tevas or Keen but close enough
I like wearing sandals with close toe and lots of straps around the foot. I usually buy Tevas or Keen which are great but expensive. I saw these on Amazon and decided to take a chance. I have been wearing them now for about a month and they have held up pretty good. I do a lot of yard work and it's a big yard. Lots of dirty jobs in hot, wet, dusty, dirty conditions. These sandals aren't as beefy as the Keen or the Tevas but for the price difference I think they are a good choice. I doubt there is much real leather but the materials so far are holding up though some rough work. The first thing that usually goes on sandals is the soul comes unglued but so far no problem. I think the weakest point might be the heel strap. It's holding up fine now but it's not the thickest material and I have a feeling it might be the first thing to go. Regardless I like the shoes and I am putting them though some pretty harsh treatment. For the price if they last a year I'll be happy. I'm going to buy another pair just as a backup. ... show more

I love these sandals and I live in them too. I have an everyday pair and a pair that I wear to church. I have weird toes and I like that these cover my toes. I liked mine so much that I bought this pair for my husband. He wears his with socks , but I guess old guys do that! Lol!

I like these sandals, but they’re too narrow for my feet. In all fairness they’re described as medium width and I usually take wide, but I sometimes get lucky. Not for these. Too bad.

I had to do a few adjustments so they would fit comfortable, one of the laces holders broke the first day I tried them on. I used them for 4 days straight when I went to Costa Rica and I used them at home once in a while, so far, no rips or unglued soles

I love my Crocs but they’re just too expensive right now so I thought I’d give these a try. Bought my normal size and they fit perfect. They don’t have the arch support that the Crocs do, but they adequate. The soles are a little harder than I expected but for the price, I’d say these are a culvert good option. ... show more
