I've had this gauge since 2020. I've used it quarterly for four years, and it is a handy little gauge. It's the perfect size and grip and a very lightweight gauge, too. The digital display is bright blue with a large black font and is easy to read. The battery died after four years. I opened it up recently with a mini Phillips head screwdriver. It's only two screws—one on each end. When I opened it, I observed a Lithium CR2032 battery about the size of a USD nickel coin. I was all out of 2032s, but I had a 4-pack of CR2016s in my desk drawer. I grabbed two of them, stacked them one on top of the other, popped out the CR 2032, and dropped them in, et voila! The blue light came right on, and the digital display worked perfectly. PRO BATTERY TIP: Although the Lithium CR2016 batteries are thinner than the required CR2032s, when you stack two CR2016s together, they're about the same thickness as a CR2032. This gauge will work with either ONE (1) CR2032 or TWO (2) CR2016 Lithium batteries. Wonderful gauge for the money. I recommend buying a couple of them. Color and quality are as expected considering the budget-friendly price. LED digital screen is bright and easy to read. Super quick and easy to use, fits in the palm of your hand! 4 star rating is only because I noticed the tire pressure read 1psi lower each time. I used several over gauges on my air compressor and travel compressor, and it still read 1psi lower than all the others. BUT I purchased it to give me a quick reading while on the road, without having to drag out and plug in a compressor, so it’s perfect for the job… I just add 1psi to every reading ;) ... show more

I am not good at checking tires so I thought this would help me. there was a part in a bog. I have no idea what to do with it. Not sure this thing will work. I will see when I need to check my tires. The extra part does not fit the device, dont know if I need it or not. At lease I know how the simple metal ones work, this may have been a mistake - we shall see. ... show more

Updated review 10/4/2024 After my review stating how the first unit failed, I was notified by the manufacturer sat they were replacing it free. I just received an updated unit that has big improvements in the area of batteries. First, the batteries are 2 aaa standard units. Second. They are accessible via a simple removable cover vs two screws. I tried it on my car tonight and it seems to work very well. Excellent customer service and gauge! Original review: Worked for a year and only had 12 uses. Then today blinked but did not work. Opened and saw 4 batteries. Replacement cost more than unit so junked unit. Will go with tried and true mechanical gauge ... show more
