I have to admit I'm a little bit disappointed in the quality of this rug. It definitely looked better in the pictures. In person, it looks ridiculously small (like, I know it's faux, but is it supposed to mimic a baby calf having been turned into a rug??) and the material is not at all like coarse fur, but more like a plush microfiber blanket. It's super soft to the touch, which I guess could be nice if you plan to use this by your bedside, as it would feel nice under bare feet. But if you plan to walk across it with shoes, I don't think it's going to hold up over time. The plush fibers get easily disturbed by the slightest touch - you can see a photo I posted of my shoe prints in the fur. And just the seams where the rug was folded for shipment have created permanent lines in the design. Overall, it'll be a cute accent rug for some distant corner, but I'm not going to showcase this piece in my house, and I wouldn't necessarily recommend it. ... show more

It's cute. It's kind of small and it's thin. I like that it's slip resistant. But I keep thinking my dog is laying on the floor and I find myself stepping over it. I'm sure I will get used to it being there. It's really cute though.

A picture is worth a thousand words......there you go, you decide if you want one now. Very soft but why can't it be soft and look like in the pictures...? This is AFTER I put in dryer on low with 8 wool balls and 3 wet towels to fluff and try and get rid of the lines where it was folded. It looks like there is pigment missing where the lines are, it isn't creased there after coming out of the dryer, The nap has been 'flooded" up consistently, so yeah.....not loving it ... show more

I got the light brown color, it looks just like the photos. Love this rug! It’s very soft and realistic looking. The back is gripped. love that it’s not real animal hide! My cats were scared of it at first then they realized it was safe to approach. Great cow hide rug. Very satisfied.

This rug is so nice! It's a smaller rug so it fits in my sons room which is very small. It is made of a soft, high quality fabric with grippy material on the bottom to keep it from moving around. Love the pattern and it's so soft yet so durable feeling. Definitely a 10 out of 10!
