I am pretty happy with these little potted plants. I wasn't expecting them to be the most realistic faux greenery I have ever seen, so I'm not disappointed in them. With the average cost being just over $3.50 per pot, they are worth it to me. I will jazz them up a bit by placing them in small terracotta pots that I have here already. Some of the pots I have even decoupaged on, I think that will elevate them even more. I will also place them up a bit higher rather than having them too low, so they are not right at eye level with people. I don't think anyone will mistake them for being real plants but I could care less about that. I like to add faux plants to an area that needs a bit of pizazz but where a real plant may not thrive. I have plenty of live plants but I have no issue with faux plants either. People should keep in mind what they are getting for the money spent. ... show more

    • Unlike real plants, my poor gardening skills won't hurt these.
I’ve been looking to add some greenery to my otherwise plain looking home office, so I order this set of six artificial hanging plants. Once potted and hung, they look convincing enough and did a good job of adding a little “nature” to my workspace. While the product description says these plastic plants are imitations of mandalas, pea pods, pearls, and eucalyptus—honestly, I don’t know enough about plants to say whether they’re a decent imitation of the real thing or not. All that matters to me is that they look good and they most certainly do. I’ve tried multiple times in the past to keep real plants in my office, but sadly I have no talent for keeping leafy green things alive. Fortunately, these plastic plants are at zero risk of dying due to my lousy gardening skills. I call that a win-win. ... show more

I like the variety of foliage these plants come with, when unfurled, they look really nice and elegant scattered around my apartment. It's worth noting that the pots are pretty small, which means they fit more places but look a little clumsy. The pots are filled with a fake-soil foam and one of my pots came with the foam slightly damaged. It is not visible damage, but worth noting. Some fake plants are so real looking that I need to touch them to ensure they are fake. These are a little more obvious. There is a thin plastic boarder around where the leaves are that gives it away, but from far away it's not super obvious. Overall, something to be desired with how "real" the plants look, there are definitely better dupes out there. I do enjoy the style of the trailing plant though so I still gave it four stars even if the quality deserves more of a 3/5. ... show more

Came nicely packed. Plant "roots" are in the foam base. I tried to pull one out of the base, and in the photo, the white styrofoam showed. I wanted to put these in a hanging pot, but that's out. The stems have clear globs of glue on them, in photo. They're okay. Nothing great about them at all.

Packaged great. I like that the pot part is weighted and looks great that it doesn't need an actual pot but it could be placed in one if you'd like. I haven't yet. I might use old mugs that are just sitting in the cabinet not being used. Hmmm After a week of being out, I will still need to "fluff" them again . ... show more

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Very tightly packed in plastic, and has a bad chemical smell. They look sad and limb in their tiny black plastic pots stuck in styrofoam that are also painted black (to mimic potting soil). It takes 5-15 minutes to untangle, fluff up, and arrange each plant. At first impressions this is not a very good purchase. LATER IMPRESSIONS: By the second day, I learned to like these plants. The bad smell was gone, and once untangled and arranged, they look reasonably real. PROS: The plants are nice and long, and you can make them shorter by removing sections, if you so desire. Even thought the pots are very small, they are weighted, so the plants wont' topple over. You can place the small pots into larger decorative pots, which is another way to customize them (and hide the ugly connection points to the pots). From the five plants, I think the pothos looks most real and the fern the least real. The others are somewhere in between. They are all plastic and decent quality. Based on my experience with similar plants, I think they will last both indoors and outdoors. And they are cheap enough that they could be easily replaced. I like the variety this pack of six provides. CONS: I think the biggest issue with these plants is the negative first impressions. They look bad and smell bad when you first unpack them. I think a lot of people won't even bother giving them a chance at that point and just return them or throw them away. However, I would say that it's worth spending some time with them.
