Initially, I became very skeptical when I received this item because it arrived in such small packaging. After unboxing and removing the plastic securing the item, you will need to unravel the intertwined vines, but it is not very difficult, as long as you do so slowly to avoid tangling them more or damaging the item. Once I had the individual vines separated, it was very aesthetically pleasing. I'm using these to replace live plants from a pair of hanging planters. The leaves have a bit of translucency, so when there is a light source behind them, some appear lighter and some appear darker than others, adding to the realism. I also like that the varying vibe lengths which make them appear more authentic. While I still have live plants, I use these in low light areas where live plants wouldn't necessarily thrive. While I still prefer live plants, this is a wonderful option in certain situations. ... show more

    • Fairly realistic looking but structure needs some work

Not a bad representation of a live vine. Overall coloring and structure seem good and, while it isn't fully realistic, it does a good job. I've seen some really good ones that look very real and some bad ones that don't at all. I would say this one falls somewhere in between. While the color and overall fullness is good, the structure (vine element and attachment points) are not realistic. When mine arrived, many of the leaves were folded over. The packaging was well done but very tight that made for the folding. The vines required some untangling and, as a result, I noticed the loosely connected leaf segments and how easily they would come off the vine. Easy to place back on but this area makes it look very fake. On the plus side, the pot is nicely done with a little weight to it so you can drape these off the side of a shelf without fearing it will fall off. There are also some little hook form on the end of the vines that could be used to connect to something for additional use. Again, overall not a bad product. ... show more

I got the ivy version of these and while I was hesitant when I first opened the box, once I fluffed them and arranged the stems, they really do look nice! It is easy to hide these in a larger planter to make it seem like a larger plant but even on its own, they look really nice. I have one sitting on a shelf in the hall and the other above my television and I've gotten compliments on both. ... show more

They arent anywhere near as full as advertised. If you put them both together they almost are as full as the item in the picture but separate the hardly have the right amount of greenery. Very disappointed

OK. I admit it. Our home is the place that plants come to die. Well, my wife and I finally gave up and started looking at Faux Plants. We both remember the faux plants from decades ago, which were terrible. So it came as quite a surprise when these arrived. Wow. How the technology has changed. From a normal viewing distance, these are very lifelike. Of course, up close, you can tell, but even then, they look really good. To sum it up, when my wife saw them, she said, Yes! Smaller then it looks in the picture. And does not look as full. This version is shiny so it has more of a plastic look. I like the white pot compared to the black and the lighter stone looks nice. I'm just not sure if it's worth the price since in looks medium to lower quality. Regardless when I hang it up gives the room a more comforting look and you can really tell the quality unless your inspecting it from up close. Looks nice though ... show more

For the price of about $12 you get 2 of these. The pots are small, but cute. The vines were a bit tangled upon delivery, but easy enough to fix. The fake plant does look pretty cheap (looks fake) but honestly.. for $12 for 2 - they're pretty nice! They are firmly secured inside the pot and there are faux rocks in the pot secured into place.
