Description

Season after season, the 1550 Arctix Youth Snow Bib Overalls serve as an outstanding value priced snow bib and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable comfort suspenders provide the perfect fit with elasticized side gussets for maximum motion. The boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

A the end of the day I Kept the Kids Large (Husky ) and Xtra Large (similar fit, but just one inch Longer) I returened 4 kids large, and kept two as I think they were missed sized from the Husky, I am 5' tall 107lbs, (Husky just gave me that little bit of hip room to bend more comfortably) but kept the length shorter around 28-29", Xtra large in kids felt similar but just a little longer length about 1.5" not too bad. 32c and Levis jeans/silver jeans, miss me jeans size 26. Athletic build no hips. I bought just like my headline stated, womens Small Short (too baggy, heavy and still as long as the XS, womens XS Short was way too tight felt like a child's medium (crotch hugging just not comfortable) then I finally tried on Kids Large, and womens XS (normal) and the image will show you what it looks like, if you have hips, I would not go with the kids Large, it fits perfect on me. the XS womens had more curvy feel good for those that have hips, the legs itself was 2" longer than the kids large but could still work for you if you are 5'2". the XS womens also was 1" wider in the leg opening making the bib a little heavier than the kids. I also bought Blue bell XS Short, and that was bigger than the quiet grey XS short (it was super baggy and felt like a small short - so color seems off in sizing as well, whereas the Kids Large I bought 5 in different colors becuase my girls also wear the same size as me and also $10-$15 less than adult. overall, hope this helps! in summary, I felt the Kids Large Husky was more akin to Womens size XS (just a tad longer) and don't mind getting a different color in Womens' XS for those probably up to 110lbs and 5'2-5'4". kids just felt lighter on me, and don't feel like I'm drowning. I'll probably pick up a womens XS in a different color that I can't find in kids. I've had this in a different color many years ago for my two kids, and we still have the bib, keeps them warm and water resistant all day even when falling half the day learning how to board. Additionally - I bought Fuschia and Orange both also in Large, but it fits much smaller and shorter than the Yellow shown here. So if you are a small adult and want to try out different sizes in different colors knowing you'll have to return them. Good luck ... show more

Bought these a size bigger than I needed for my 7yr old. We live in the PNW and are under snow or rain for a good portion of the year. My kiddo utilizes their snow clothing from October through March (and sometimes April). So I try to buy peices that will hold up over time and accommodate a growth spurt or two. These have been great thus far. I packed them away for the summer a few weeks ago now and at last wear they were still fitting perfectly on their smallest setting. So I feel confident that we'll be able to utilize them again come fall/winter. They have been used in snow, heavy rain and yes even mud. They keep the kiddo dry and very warm. My kid who can blow the knees out of a pair of pants in a matter of days, has yet to snag a thread on these. I'll be back for more when my kid grows out of this pair. Oh and added bonus is the orange is very easy to see which is necessary in our area as our property is wooded and near popular hunting areas. ... show more

I got 6 pairs on sale for around $10 each pair. I bought one small, one medium, one large, and 3 extra larges. They run bigger than their advertised sizes so keep that in mind. I returned two of the extra lathes because they were meant for me but didn’t fit. Not the fault of the company. These are really sturdy too. They’ll get years of use out of them. ... show more

Got these for my 6-year-old son at a great price. They are very durable and will keep him warm this winter. Also appreciate how easy it is to adjust the straps. Taking off one star as they came dirty and you could tell that someone previously opened it or returned it.
