My feet are a bit wide but not wide enough to ever need footwear of wide width. I also have high insteps and fallen arches that cause intermittent sharp ankle pain when I wear anything without enough arch support. And they tend to get sweaty. It is quite common with flip flops rubbing my feet red/open in the toe areas or on the top of my feet near the edge. With all these, you know that it is not easy for me to find flip flops that are comfortable for me. Oh…And I also have a bad back which starts to hurt in an hour or two if the shoes are not supportive. When these first arrived, I debated whether I should return them as they feel quite narrow. However, I really some lighter flip flops to take to a vacation in Cancun. Then I accidentally ripped the tag off these so I figured that I will just keep them and take them with me to Cancun. I am very glad that I did. They got really quite comfortable after a day or two with some stretching to the straps. I actually wore them to an excursion for 6-7 hours without back or foot pain. They don’t get slippery near the pool or anywhere. In fact, I brought a new pair of Reef flip flops and those got extremely slippery while in the resort restaurants on tiled surface whereas these did not. I am really happy to finally find flip flops that are comfortable, look great, and are supportive but not bulky.

What more do you want out of a flip flop? They’re comfortable and they’re light, and for someone like me with narrow feet who always struggles to find thongs/flippies that will stay on, these fit like a glove. (If you have wider feet, they have instructions on how to gently stretch the bands to make them more comfortable for you.) The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that they do rub a little when it’s very warm, so if you’re somewhere warm and humid and walking longer distances they might give you blisters, which would be an utter deal-breaker for me. Luckily I live somewhere dry, so it’s not an issue for me. Also for sizing reference, my feet are 9.5” long and the women’s US 7 is perfect.

I got my first pair of Archies in 2020, and loved the arch support so much. Wore it at home every day, and it finally snapped on one foot. I knew it ran large from this pair, and that the straps do stretch over time, so I ordered my usual size 8 and 7 as well. I'm typically 7.5~8, and 7 does fit better length-wise. I did notice that the width has changed. I have bony but semi-wide feet, and the older design fit well on that front. This new model fits like a standard regular width. It's not too narrow that my feet spill over, but it's just on the edge. I wish Archies offered half sizes and width options—i'd be wear Archies forever!

I really do like these flip-flops. My daughter bought a pair and she has high arches like I do, so I bought a pair. I have to say they don’t have as much arch support as I thought they would. If you have REALLY high arches and are looking for serious support in a flip-flop, these may not be for you. But otherwise, I think you will be happy with your purchase. I liked the little diamond on each shoe - nice touch.

I have to update my review to say this is a great company with great customer service! Gave me a full refund!! I have severely flat feet and absolutely NEED arch support in a sandal (esp because I live in flip flops during the summer, dont tell my podiatrist lol) These were comfortable at first. I liked how the top is very snug to your foot so you don't have to curl your toes as much to keep them on. And the arch support seemed sufficient. Easy to clean, material is comfortable. But the arch support collapsed within 2 months of constant wear. I was so excited for these, I'm so bummed.

These are definitely the most comfortable pair of flip flops I own. My feet don't hurt after walking in them and the straps can be stretched for comfort. I will probably toss them after a few more wears though. They did not stain my feet the first few times I wore them, but now the black staining that is left behind gets progressively worse and is difficult to scrub off.

I wear a 7.5 and sized up per others suggestions. They are pricey for rubber but they are well engineered and do give excellent support plus they are comfortable. I am enjoying them. I have white. I will often take them into the shower and they clean up while I shower.... They don't tend to making that flip flop slapping noise while walking which i like.....

I have to update my previous review because I was upset. I purchased these for arch support because of foot pain. They were great!! Could walk all day. But unfortunately they broke within a month. Thankfully Archies is an awesome company. I contacted them and they are sending my replacement with a return postage label to send the defective pair back. I cannot wait to get my flops back!!!
