This is a great purchase and I am super happy with this iPad! The one thing I am not so happy with is the screen. For some reason, every fingerprint or smudge shows up looking oil slick on the screen glass for some reason. When I received it, there were oily fingerprints(?) on the screen already that I figured would clean right off. I cleaned my screen and everything came off fine - as soon as I touched the screen again my fingerprints looked like oily smudges! For a refurbished item, I am extremely happy with this purchase. The 12.9 inch tablet that I ordered included a thank you card with a 90 day guarantee and a phone number for Technical Support. You will also receive a charger and a key to insert a sim card into your device. The tablet that i received was flawless and arrived in a bubble wrap "cocoon" at 57% charge. The tablet i ordered came with wifi and cellular service, so i went to the closest T Mobile Store and purchased 10 gigs per month for $35 (per month). The tablet works flawlessly via wifi or cellular service; the tablet I ordered is a second generation iPad, and it is all that I need for surfing the internet. The 12.9 inch tablet does not seem to be a popular model anymore; I went to best Buy to find a sleeve or covering, and I ended up buying a cover via Amazon. I have had a great experience buying a refurbished product, and I also saved hundreds of dollars by doing so. I also own an Apple desktop that was refurbished and I have had no problems at all. Both the wifi and cellular service work flawlessly, so i have gotten my money's worth with this purchase. ... show more

    • Worse than 'fair' condition IMHO

Refurbished iPad 12.9 2nd gen was sent and delivered bent (and not from shipping, as the shipping box was not damaged). Condition is worse than I was led to expect based on description. Screen is imperfect due to the bent device; it's not terrible but is definitely noticeable at times. The iPad Pro 12.9 still works but I was expecting scratches or scrapes, not an iPad that was bent in the middle as if somebody sat on it or otherwise put too much weight on it. While the device works, it is worse cosmetically (bend is very noticeable and serious in my opinion) and functionally (bend affects screen by causing a lighted area near the bend when screen should be dark, and the bend may impact my ability to add a keyboard) than is acceptable for a refurbished unit that is supposed to function normally. It should have been sold as poor condition rather than fair condition IMHO. I do not feel like I got a good deal (or was provided completely accurate information about the condition) and would not buy the same unit again, but the unit does function and it is not completely terrible. I hoped I would receive a 'good' or at a minimum 'fair' unit for the 'fair' price that I paid, but I got a 'poor' unit rather than 'fair' one in my view. ... show more

I had the iPad for a few months now and the screen becomes more unresponsive daily. It to the point now where I have to use the pencil to do anything on it. At first I thought it was the screen protector but I removed that a while ago and it didn’t help. Now I guess I’ll have to by a new iPad and call this a loss. Sucks since it wasn’t cheap. Oh and the battery life sucks too. From 100% to 5% after about 1 hour of work being done on it. ... show more

When I hook up my first gen Apple Pencil I’ve got a first rate drawing tool for a fraction of the cost of a new one.
