I am updating my review. Only one tuna and crab was expired the rest expire in 2024 I apologize for saying the whole pack was expired. My kitty loves the tuna and crab flavors a lot. I think I will still not subscribe though due to maybe getting expired kitty food.

My maine coon kitten gets 1/2 each day for an afternoon treat and LOVES it. He prefers chicken flavors to fish in all food/treats and I was looking for an easy way to increase his protein intake. It's great, just a little pricey.

my cat loves these. he can tell when i'm opening the cardboard packaging they come in and he comes running immediately. they have good ingredients and look like nice quality when i peel it open. i mix it up a little and just serve it to him and he's happy.

Let's face it, for most of us, we tend to purchase cat or dog food based on how the food looks and appeals to us. I've seen photos on cat food ads that looked so good - heck, I would have eaten them. The problem is that a 5 star rating for one brand, might result in a 1 star rating from someone else. Our pets are just as picky as many of us when it comes to finding the right food, and nothing can be more frustrating then to just have purchased a small or large case of a particular offering, only to have your cats thumb their noses up at them. There are two brands of cat food that my 3 adopted feral cats have thoroughly enjoyed and I feed them cans of food from either brand each day. These brands are from Applaws and Reveal. They apparently are same company (although priced differently) because they offer the exact same formulations (with the same ingredients). The Applaws brand (and corresponding Reveal brand) feature canned cat food with only natural ingredients, which do not include any preservatives. Now if you were to price the 24 can case of Applaws - let's say the Tuna with Crab in sauce - with that of the same in the Reveal brand, you'd find that the Reveal offering is some $10-$15 less expensive than the Applaws offering. I never understood this because it is so apparent that these are the same companies. Where you save money with the Applaws offering (if you happened to settle on that brand) is when you purchase the 8 can packs. Both Applaws and Reveal appeal to my cats (who are normally very picky eaters). Each morning when I feed them with these cans of food, they inhale the formulations and there is nothing left. When you open the cans, you can see that the food looks natural (actually looks like you're opening a can of human tuna). In closing, it used to be that I would waste hundreds of dollars experimenting with different cat food formulations (canned food), with each brand guaranteeing that cats will love their food. As you know, this is never the case. Then I first stumbled upon the Reveal brand (which my cats fell in love with), and then discovered that the Applaws brand basically has the same formulations, but typically at a higher price (go figure?). So yes, with the 3 cats I have (indoor cats), they love both the Applaws and Reveal brands, and I am giving this a 5 star rating. It's all subjective, I know. After all, there might be some folks here whose cats just thumbed their noses up at these brands. ... show more

No doubt that this is a quality product. Our Koko had one portion for the first time last night and she seemed very happy with it. I needed something quick because I was running out of canned food for her, and came across this . . . thinking 18 servings for $18 was not bad. Turns out it's a box of 8. Why is it so hard to find food without toxic garbage added to it? No wonder cancers, allergies, and autoimmune conditions are off the charts. I don't want anyone I love to have that fate. I love my pets enough to feed them the best and this is truly it aside from homemade. Thankful to have this option without any added carrageenan, no synthetic garbage "vitamins" or preservatives that cause gut irritation and cancer, no strange fillers that damage their thyroid like broccoli or other garbage cats shouldn't eat.
