    • Good but some flaws. (Updated from 4 to 5)
Im glad to say it works beautifully, after some troubleshooting and googling I was able to get a print to not stick the the FEP film. However I will say Im immensly dissapointed in the quality of the screws for the leveling plate. In my troubleshooting tightening the screws on the plate I managed to accidentally strip one of them. Now, It obviously didnt effect the ability of the machine to print but it does concern me greatly for the longevity of the part. I was really hoping to atleast get a few projects done before Id have to consider replacing a part let alone any real heavy matenience. Given this is an older model, I can only hope that the following machines addressed this issue and that I can find a reasonably priced back up tray. Will keep posted with updates if I remember. Hopefully I wont have to for a long time, but we shall see. Update. Only a day or two after I made this review my machine died randomly. Now, I know, why did I increase my review? Because Anycubics customer service is literally the pinnavle of customer service. Not only did they help me diagnose my motherboard as faulty, they offered me a free replacement and a replacement buildplate in lue of a $30 refund for the inconvience. I have yet to recieve the mobo or tray, but thats because it was sent out maybe yesterday I beleieve. But I have to say, they really put forth their best foot and hopefully with these parts fixed my machine will continue to churn out my armies of tiny people. ... show more

This was my first foray into resin printing; and it works really well. I found this printer to be extremely easy to set up and use. It is way more intuitive than FDM printing, for sure - at least for me. I haven't had any real issues with this printer so far, other than occasional moments when the touch screen seemed to be registering a different selection than what I was trying to make. But that may have been the angle at which I was pressing the screen. The build plate is a decent size and easy to level. Full disclaimer: I did put a magnetic flex plate on to facilitate easy removal and better adhesion right out of the box. The screen protector is a p.i t.a. to install, but that's because I haven't perfected installation (that's on me). The vat is okay, and easy to replace the film. Make sure you download a good app to get the tuning right. It helps immensely with taking the guesswork out of whether or not you've made it tight enough. Now I will admit that since this is my first resin printer, I have nothing to compare it to, so my opinions are just that - and certainly have no basis in the mind of greatness. Other folks who have more extensive experience may have different opinions. Price was on point for me. I will say that I am looking for a larger format resin printer now - but only because I have designed models that will not fit on this build plate. A lot of what I do is on the larger side.     • well-built, easy to use, great value and an overall good system
i was nervous about diving into the world of 3d printing because it seemed complicated and beyond my ability. of course, there are things to learn, but this system made it incredibly easy. i watched a simple video to figure out how to use the slicer program. let me tell you, you don't have to be a genius to operate it. it's very simple and reliable. as for the printing equipment, i can't say enough nice things. the steps for set up and operation are simple and easy to understand. it prints exactly as programmed with a high success rate, and the equipment feels well-made and sturdy. best of all, there's always a good deal on this from the seller. if i actually had the need to, i'd buy another one, just because it's such a good deal. they make higher tier printers, but this one suits me absolutely fine and it made me not only happy about my purchase, but happy that i'm now comfortably into the world of 3d printing ... show more

Shortly after receiving our printer we ran into issues with the LCD screen. After a brief chat with support and sending exposure videos, the promptly sent us a replacement screen. Great. Got it and attached it as directed by the AnyCubic video on replacing the screen. We turn it on and check that the screen is working and lighting up and everything looks good. Then we run a test print....and nothing prints. We reach out to support again and they ask for more exposure videos. Sent. Then they ask for pictures of the inside wiring. Sent. They tell us everything looks good and it should work so we should try it again. We do and send more videos of proof that it in fact is not working. They ask for more pictures and videos, over and over again. Several times they asked for pictures and videos of parts that we had already sent pictures and videos of previously. At this point in time it's been several weeks and nothing has come of it. They've asked us to review their customer support and the solutions or repairs they've provided.....WHAT SOLUTIONS? WHAT REPAIRS? All they've done is give us the run around. At this point I can only assume that they hope we'll give up and they won't have to cover the issues that should be covered by the warranty. ... show more
