  • Nice and Compact
Color: Interstellar Gray
I'll be going on a trip soon and wanted to give wireless charging a try. First impressions of the housing, it has a nice soft and silky feel to it. It doesn't seem to keep or show fingerprints/oil like other similar feeling material. It also doesn't seem to be a dust magnet like the rubber material on my Anker PowerCore II Slim. Overall it feels solid with soft edges that won't dig into your hands. Moving on to the main reason why I bought this, wireless charging. I mean, off the bat, it works as described. Pop it on the phone and it starts charging. It does get a little warm but not uncomfortable to hold in my opinion. There are countless videos talking about specs and charging time so I won't delve further into that. The second reason why I bought this was because I was interested in the stand feature. More importantly, using it as a stand without charging. There's one review on here that says if you press the button for 3 seconds, until the leds turn off, then put it on your phone, it'l stay off and you can use it purely as a stand. I tried counting in my head for 3 seconds, using a timer for 3 seconds, pressing the button until the leds turned off (more like 5 seconds), and I didn't get a reliable result. I think it stayed off twice but for the most part it would auto charge. There's also a response to a question on the product saying they called Anker support and Anker's response was that only the 633 could be turned off, not the 622. So this is kind of a bummer but the 633 or the Apple battery pack don't have built in stands but are double the price, which is why I just went with and will keep using the 622. ... show more

  • Great for what it is…
Color: Interstellar Gray
First you should know this charger only charges at 7.5w, 2.5w faster then the apple battery pack. However, it wont ever be as fast as just plugging in your device to a wall charger. I have the iPhone 13 pro, and it fits perfectly with a case on however if you don’t have a case on you notice a bit of overhang. This charger can get my phone from 17% to ~95% but it wont charge as fast if you’re using power demanding apps. The stand is also great, personally I don’t use it as much but its always convenient when I need it. Gaming Gaming with this battery pack is great and will slowly charge your phone while playing but playing games such as call of duty with high graphics will just drain the battery form pack rather than your phone. But lighter games such as Clash Royale or crossy road where they don’t demand much graphical performance work just great and won’t stop your phone from charging. I also did notice it gets warm but not so much to where it’s a concern of a fire or burning, almost having one of those hand warms you might see during the winter. Overall I have really enjoyed this product as it can help me get through a day with out having to be tied to a wall. I definitely recommend it and could even see myself getting a second one for traveling where outlets aren’t always available. Not to mention being able to charge other devices such as my AirPods from the usb c port at the bottom. ... show more

  • Looks great, doesn’t charge phone fully - wish charging port was also on side
Color: Interstellar Gray
UPDATE: added a star because the customer support was phenomenal. They wanted to ensure my charger was working properly and continued to check in to see where they can help: I bought three chargers in anticipation of my travel coming up. I tested 3 options out to see which I like best I put all 3 magsafe chargers in a line for comparison (photo of 3 for comparison of size, looks and I’ll put descriptions below). To note I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max which uses about equivalent to an iPhone 14 charge requirement as well. Very left (#1) Moft charger: - COST $79.99 (plus 15% discount code) + tax - LOOKS: leather? Sleek, looks great and most compact - card holder/ wallet (if you purchase with) holds max 4 cards but realistically 2-3, 4 was incredibly tight but overall rate the looks 5/5 - TECH SPECS: battery capacity 3400 mAh - rated capacity 1750 mAh - wireless output 7.5W/5W - PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: this charged my iPhone 13 Pro Max about 40% when almost dead (not sure if my charger was defective but incredibly slow to charge and again not worth the money if only charges 40% max) rate 2.5/5 stars overall for functionality. It’s overpriced for market value and for paying so much to only have it charge 40% is just too little. It does look beautiful and having the charge on the side is a huge plus because you can then keep your phone standing up while charging rather than having to lay it out. Again passthrough charge is so great to be able to charge your phone AND device at the same time and I like being able to stand up my phone so when I wake up I can easily see the time / alerts. Middle (#2) anker charger: - COST $44.99 + tax - LOOKS: love the look, of course like the look of moft better since it’s leather, but this all black look and feel is also great. I would rate this 5/5. - TECH SPECS: battery capacity 5000 mAh - PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: charges my phone once down about 60%. Also slower in charge but moft was the slowest. Rating 3/5 because looks nice, however again doesn’t charge as much as I would’ve liked and I hate that the charger is on the bottom because I can’t keep my phone standing AND charging at the same time. I HAVE to lay down my iPhone to charge. Very right (#3) yiisonger charger: - COST $30.09 + tax - LOOKS: it looks better than I expected, however out of the three definitely the bulkiest so I give it a 3/5 - TECH SPECS: battery capacity 10,000 mAh - rated capacity 6500 mAh - PERSONAL EXPERIENCE: at first was incredibly slow to charge ; however after the third time, began charging faster and charged my phone once FULLY. What I liked about this one is that it has 2 outputs for charging + MagSafe charge (so total 3). It also has passthrough charging but the most important which is similar to moft and what I like about moft is that you can keep it charging your phone while charging the battery pack, and if you want it upright on the stand, the side charger allows you to keep it standing rather than having to lay it out. That makes a big difference. Also I like seeing the % of battery left on the charger. For price, functionality, you can’t beat it, even tho it doesn’t look the prettiest compared to other too, but it’s definitely not too bad. Rating 4.5/5 / just took off .5 because at the end of the day the other two look much prettier but you can’t best price and functionality with number of ports and where charging ports are laid. ... show more
