This is fun to play with. It is rather noisy when it is on and there is a little bit of a learning curve to figure out how to throw it but my son and I have had a great time playing with this. The battery doesn’t last long so we usually only get about 20-30 minutes before it dies. The lights allow us to play outside in the yard after the sun goes down. For reference my son just turned 8, he figured it out in less than a day. It may be a little frustrating for younger kids so I would say it is best for ages 6+ While we were learning how to use it, it crashed into the wall, ceiling or floor numerous times without getting damaged. The ball is slightly flexible so if you squeeze it it flexes under your fingers. The propeller inside is loud but it is powerful, it creates breeze strong enough that my son will use it to cool his face down ... show more

going to be a christmas gift for the sons of a good friend......i test "drove" one of them, fun...there is a learing curve but an 8th grader and a senior in high school should be able to figure it out........looks like loads of fun.

Says it is appropriate for a 6 year old but it really requires an older child. Small access area for off/on switch, rechargable by USB cord but charging plug is not included and the plug-in location is VERY Hard to access. Ball is only 3-4 inches and moves very erratically. Perhaps a coordinated 10 year old would be better at it than this grandmother, so I'll save it as a Christmas gift for our older grandson. ... show more

This is hard to get the hang of so for that I think it should raise the age on this. Very nice for infants because of the colors but to dangerous for them.
