These are honestly the best underwear for a petite woman. I am 5’2”, about 100lbs, 24” waist, 29” hip and the xs is PERFECT for me. Normal sizes of underwear stop at about that size 5 mark and they are always too big and a little baggy. These fit perfect, for fitting so they don’t bunch under tight pants, full coverage for back and front, and a comfortable midrise (below belly button but covers where it should), leg openings are normal and don’t go too far up the hip. These stay in place; no moving or riding around. They hold up great (I was in an undergarment bag and prefer to hang them to dry because my dryer sucks). They’re soft and smooth but still cotton which is great for anyone who exercises a lot or is outside, they’re thin but not overly thin just perfect thickness. AND the elastic is comfortable and does not dig into you! Price is awesome as well. I feel like they look nice in a modest way, no granny panty look but also not revealing. They’re comfortable, functional, but aesthetically pleasing. I have lost count how many packs I’ve bought because I want all the colors! Highly recommend, they’re about the only underwear I buy because nothing else compares! So Amazon please keep making in an xs! ... show more

Four stars because they are soft enough but not as soft as other cotton or cotton blend underwear I own. Quality matches price. They are still very comfortable, super stretchy. I would say they run a bit big. I'm 5'4 135 lbs with 36" hips. I don't have a lot of junk in my trunk but I've got thick legs from years of soccer playing. I'm typically a size 4 or sometimes a 6, brand depending. I ordered a MEDIUM and they fit but I would order a small next time. The coverage/fit is more like boy shorts than bikini. They aren't at risk of falling down due to the elastic so I will keep them but next time I will definitely order a small. ... show more

I'm an older woman who can't stand tight underwear. I also can't stand when they slip into my butt. I bought a size up just to be sure they wouldn't be too tight and they fit great. They're well made, the elastic doesn't dig into my skin, they stay put and are a great value.

My original order didn't go so well. Not sure if it was Amazon, or package pirates; but the package and underwear inside was RUINED! Got a replacement the next day and these are without a doubt the most comfortable pair of underwear I've worn in almost 30 years!! I'm chunky, and have apron belly after having a kid.. these for in so the right places!! I've read reviews before buying, they seem to tear over time washing.. I suggest getting a mesh laundry bag! Amazon Essentials Women's Cotton Bikini Brief Underwear and the model that is cut a bit higher in the legs are my basic, everyday undies. They are thin and light and comfortable and breathable. They are cotton. I live in a hot country, so I really appreciate their quality. They also hold up well in the washer. I wear them for years and keep buying more. (I only line-dry, though, since I live in a hot country, as I mentioned.) The only thing I don't really like is that the very lightest colours (white and shell pink) are fairly see-through. I do wear clothes over them of course, but I would be happier if they were more opaque. The medium beige and light grey are not see-through, though, so they are great and I can wear them under lighter clothing. I really like the variety of colours, although I would also appreciate it if you could buy all one colour. Really great overall, though! ... show more
