The unit is very handsome but it does have one drawback which was not mentioned in the listing. It is installed in a bathroom and has no lock. I don't see a big problem but the women in the house are outraged. Makes me wonder what they do in there which requires such total secrecy. Bought them to replace old brass knobs with black. Apprehensive that they might be chintsy but I was wrong! They're so sturdy and well made. Really made the hallway look totally different. Super easy to install, and I love that the screws are hidden behind a decorative plate so that your knobs don't get scratches when installing them. I still can't believe the low price. These door handles are nice looking especially for the price, but they’ve got to be the dumbest instructions I’ve ever seen. I installed no exaggeration 25 doorknobs at my last home during a reno with a different (better quality) brand, but as with everything the price increased, so that’s how I landed on these. The other brand was much easier to install. These require you to assemble the entire handle, and the cover that comes removed does not fit well. You get what you pay for but it’s frustrating. Also, for all the reviews that say they didn’t get keys, READ THE DESCRIPTION. The ONLY handle that comes with a key is the ENTRY handle, not privacy. ... show more

nice looking, I like the simply and modern design. but the problems: the color of the handle is the exactly matching the color of the plate. you can tell the difference if you look close. the lock switch is sometimes stuck if you want to switch the lock/unlock latch. the lock is missing the keyed lock. I dont understand how this collection is missing keyed lock. it's only 2 styles, privacy style and closet style. key lock is not designed in this model ? ... show more
