Rolls well on carpet. Only problem I encountered is that the trays have a white enamel covering, which was scratched on two of the trays. I love this rolling, sturdy cart, but had to do some web surfing to figure out how to put it together, because the instructions are not detailed enough. Once I figured out what the metal parts were for, it was easy to put together and included the only tool you’ll need.
