This ladder looks too good to be true and that is because it is. I am a professional electrician and use ladders in my work. I was skeptical in buying this ladder but was intrigued because it would fill a niche of compact ladder. First, this ladder is extremely wobbly. To the point I did not feel comfortable using it. Secondly, all of the locks are plastic and sure to wear off and break. Thirdly, there is no legitimate information on the manufacturer if you do have a problem or worse hurt yourself. The manufacturer is labeled as ‘bill’ with and address in China. Clearly a way to avoid any kind of a liability. There are no manufacturer or testing labels on this ladder. Fourthly, this seller is fighting my return of this shady product. Amazon should be more scrutinizing in letting products like this be put up for sale. ... show more

The ladder is very convenient as far as storing it. However, it isn't really all that lightweight. It weighs about as much as my regular size wooden ladder. Once it's extended, it's almost as if its "bendy" and doesn't feel sturdy, but it stayed put and didn't collapse under me. Opening it is easy, closing it is easy but you have to make sure your fingers are not anyplace on the wrungs. ... show more

I love it, it doesn't take a lot of room in my 5th wheel's garage. but, it is a little narrow and that makes it a little unsteady. but i like the edesign, It's nice and compact, the depoiment is easy and quick, but putting it away is a little harder. Releasing the locks for each level doesn't let it drop down on it's own, you have to push it down. Not easy when you have to hold two latches at the same time and push down. The only draw back about the design. The compactness makes up for the small flaws. I would of make it wider. It is narrow. ... show more

When this is in a frame mode it works pretty well, when its fully extended it is a bit shaky. The hinge joint flexes quite a bit as you climb it. Mare sure you position the base well or else it will slip out. folds very small to fit in smaller vehicles which is the primary use of this. About half the size of my little giant fold up ladder. The steps are smaller than a fiberglass ladder so it is not as sturdy feeling. For its price and size its hard to find another ladder that will do the same job better. When you press the releases to fold it back up be careful. It drops down fast and can easily smash your fingers if you are not careful. ... show more

    • Pretty good compact ladder
We needed a compact ladder for the trailer, and this fit the bill. It allows me to get up on the roof, yet it can be stowed in a storage compartment. Easy to extend and to collapse. The down side of this ladder is the stability. If I station the ladder too far back, the ladder flexes and does inspire confidence. I have to place the feet of the ladder closer the trailer (wall) in order to correct the flexing. I'm 6'2" @ 240lbs, so this ladder definitely tested. Came promptly and packaged well. Opens and adjusts easily. Reason for the 4 stars is that while the weight bearing part is stable the lateral movement seems a bit loose so as long as youre not hanging off to one side it should be fine.

I like the weight and that it holds my weight at 300lbs (107 kilos). It’s very light for a 16’ ladder. It also folds very well to fit in my vehicle (Toyota Prius). I do roofing estimates and in home product demos. If that’s you then this ladder is for you. Great ladder - a bit flexible when fully extended, but otherwise it is fantastic for our fifth wheel! One of our grown sons didn't care to use it due to the flexibility when we were trimming trees - but he's about twice my size. One of our younger sons nor I minded it.
