We love Ready, Set, Bet! It's not super complicated and it's just an exciting and fun push-your-luck horse betting game with lots of options for winning (or losing!) bets! Playing with the app has been hilarious, and we often make the races go faster each time which increases the pressure for people to place their bets. It's a unique game that has some familiar mechanics from other games but utilizes them in a totally fresh way. Love playing this with 4 or more people. Great as a warm up game as well. This is a very fun game if you get the right crowd playing. We have played with a group that was more quiet and it didn’t make the game nearly as fun as the group that got into it and was cheering on their horses to win. If you can get someone to roll the dice for the horses and call out the numbers with some enthusiasm it makes the game so much better than using the app. ... show more

With real time play and simultaneous actions from all the players, this makes for a great party game for a large group. No need for much board game experience but those that do have it will find some interesting strategies to keep you engaged.

If you want a room full of your friends yelling "SIX, NO COMMON EIGHT! LETS GO FOUR!!!" Takes a minute to learn how to play, but dang is this a fun game! Chaotic in the best way, the kind of game that gets people standing up and shouting during each round. It's a really fun and suspenseful game, for 2-8 players, about betting on a horse game. The game is played simultaneously while the horses race in real time by a person or by the official app. I really recommend you try it. It has tough decisions in a good way and the race is so intense.
