    • Very attractive, look and feel more expensive than they are.
My wife and had become bleary-eyed after looking online at seems like hundreds of barstools before finding some that we could afford, had the look we were after, had backs on them, and were counter height. When we finally found these Alberta Metal Swivel Bar Stools we were ecstatic. However, not being able to actually see them in person, feel them, sit on them , etc. made us a bit wary, even though we knew we had little choice but to take a chance. We did and are delighted that we did. These bar stools are perfect for us. When we started to unpack them we knew instantly that they were a quality product. They are even more attractive than they appear online and are much more sturdy and hefty than we expected. We are constantly receiving compliments from visitors who almost always mention our bar stools when they first enter our kitchen/family room. I give the barstools five stars without hesitation for their looks, quality, heft, utility, and affordability. We were particularly impressed by the affordability of these barstools. Before resorting to our online bar stool search we visited numerous furniture stores and found that all except the most flimsy and unattractive of them to be very pricey. In fact, they were in many instances two to three times as expensive as these Alberta bar stools that we finally purchased on Amazon. We are very, very happy with our purchase. Now for a couple of caveats. Some of the reviews of the Alberta bar stools express concerns about these bar stools giving one a feeling of sliding off of them while seated. We found that to indeed be the case but to a very slight degree andcertainly not to a degree of discomfort or even bother at all. In fact, it seems to me that the feeling of sliding off is actually more a perception rather than a structural reality. The seats on the barstools are a type of leather than is quite slick and makes it very easy to ease onto and off of the bar stools which makes it an advantage, at least to us and our guests, rather than a disadvantage. Others might differ about whether this is a plus or minus. The second caveat is that these bar stools can be something of a challenge if you're trying to assemble them alone. The instructions, as always seems the case nowadays, are minimal (and that is being generous). Doing it alone took me almost an hour to assemble the first one which included considerable trial and error. However, after I got the hang of it, assembling each of the other three took about half as long. Other than those two minor caveats, we encourage you to consider these Alberta bar stools if they appear to meet your needs. We love and highly recommend them. ... show more

    • Love These Chairs!!!
Assembly took a little while but it was so worth it! Just make sure to really tighten the screws as much as possible and you’ll have no problem making sure the chairs are secure. Mine came out great and not wobbly at all, very sturdy. Can’t say enough good things about them they look great and are actually pretty comfortable!     • Nice looking stools but quality?
Nice looking stools but the quality lacks. One of the legs had a mount hole that wasn't tapped to install the lower support ring. I was missing two fasteners went to Lowe’s and found a replacement fasteners that would work. Not all fasteners came with washers and lock washers. I put all fasteners in with blue locktite to prevent them from coming loose. Stools came from China with lousy quality control. You pay for what you get. ... show more

Was not aware that almost 100% assembly was required. The only part that was not needing assembly was the bearing on the seat. I had no problem assembling it as I have the tools and the space to do it. Would recommend using loctite where possible to ensure the screws and bolts don't loosen. After 3 months the stools are excellent. We enjoy them very much! ... show more

I ordered these chairs because I have 4 other similar chairs that are black. These are not black, they are a dark brown. They are easy to put together and look very nice but did not seem like they would last in the long run. They are not the quality I expected so I returned them.

Some of the legs are not same length so a little wobble but the skid pads help compensate. Would buy again especially with the customer service provider. Replaced damage parts ASAP.
